Man. I'm so hyped for the bracket stage. This could possibly be the first tournament where the favorites won't win. This could be an AHQ vs Fnatic final. After getting stomped by EDG, Fnatic still managed to put up a fight against SKT. I don't think Fnatic will make it. but AHQ can force a full best of 5 if they play like this. And even if they don't, they can be proud. YFW finished top 4 at the IEM World Championship. AHQ, top 4 at MSI. TPA and AHQ at Worlds, didn't make it past groups. Will people finally learn that LMS isn't trash? They're in most cases superior to the west, and can take on the Chinese and Koreans.
This could be a complete blowout, two sweeps, but hey.
EDG vs AHQ - 3:2. I'm feeling bold on this one. AHQ proved that they can take a massive lead, and so long they close it out they shouldn't have any problems. I expect EDG to win, but I'm cheering on AHQ all the way.
SK vs FNC - 3:1. I feel generous on this one. Fnatic has shown that they can put up a fight. Could also be a 3:0.
Finally. To everyone who hyped up TSM. Where's the hype now? Oh, they are the West's hope. EU is the weakest region. LMS, what a joke. How often have we heard that? AHQ far surpassed my expectations for them, even though I thought they were good after their 9:1 playoff run. Fnatic shocked me by utterly crushing TSM, clearly looking like the weaker team on paper prior to the match. Losing against EDG, no shame there. Yes, AHQ crushed them. And, what a fight they put up against SKT.
I'm praying for two full series, and another one tomorrow. I want AHQ to beat EDG and possibly SKT as well, so they can finally prove that they're a contender. SKT and EDG are the favorites, but anything can happen. Also, if this is any indication. Worlds is going to be so incredible. Finally all regions aren't on completely different levels, and they can all give each other a run for their money.

SKT came from behind because AHQ and Fnatic just beat them. It's not like EDG is levels above SKT. It just proves that other teams can actually challenge the favorites. Remember SKT vs EDG? Yes, EDG screwed up, but it showed that SKT is capable of crushing a team and digging extremely deep. EDG is probably going to make the finals, but don't expect any less then it going to game 5. Plus, SKT have the advantage in a best of 5, mostly with having two completely different mid laners who are top 5 in the world.
