I'm a level 13 summoner at the time of writing, and Ahri has become my favorite character. I've used a couple guides before, and I found this really useful (especially since my lv 30 friends don't like to smurf so I usually have to fight against stronger people). It's actually really amazing that you've been updating this guide all the way up until now from 2012 (or maybe even 2011), and I found the Matchups especially helpful. I also liked the humor you added in a couple places. Great guide, keep it up! I actually made this account just to comment on your guide; the best I've seen on Mobafire (even though I've probably seen around 10). Thanks again!

And yeah, Scaling AP vs flat AP basically serve the same purpose and should be adjusted for user preference. I personally use 4 flat AP, 3 Scaling AP, and 2 flat MR glyphs.

So I'm new to Ahri, and, as I do with every champion, I searched to see if there were any guides on her available, and then I usually use the guide and personalise it slightly so that it better suits my play style and feels right for me.
I might change items, add or remove items, or change spells, or change how I start etc etc etc.
But as a new player with Ahri I can honestly say this guide is outstanding and I've been referring to it constantly over the last week for tips, tricks and the other vast knowledge that's here.
one thing I did change slightly though is the glyphs.
instead of full on scaling Ability Power, I mixed 5 Glyphs of Scaling Ability power and 4 glyphs of Ability power, I've found it gives an early advantage damage wise while still providing a high level of damage later on as well.
Apart from that...? First guide that I've felt fits my play style perfectly.

When I started playing LoL last year, I first played Ahri(because of her big dem boobs). Lacking experience in playing MOBAs, I struggled a little in playing Ahri. I was finding a guide on how to play Ahri when I found your guide. By reading this guide, I was familiarized how to play as Ahri and improved on playing LoL. Now I am in Silver I this season and she is my main until today. I just want to say thank you for making this guide that helped me and other LoL players that are just starting in playing it. It's not terrible, but I just like the damage from AP quints. Kat uses MS quints well since she's melee, TF uses it well since his whole kit is based on ganking. I guess Ahri is more of a lane champion than Twisted Fate so she can't use the MS quints to its full potential. But honestly I haven't tried it out a whole lot, so it could actually be hidden OP, it just seems unlikely.

Hey man, I upvoted, because this is really useful, but I wanted to ask, why not use Luden's echo? and what is your opinion about movespeed quints on Ahri?
