Haha I work at a grocery store to fund college as well. Some people tell me stuff is ridiculously overpriced and I say the exact same thing as you do. Apparently minimum wage workers are in charge of the pricing of products now. Who would've known?
Dude a woman approached me and her cart had like 15 "Five Alive" juices in it and asked me if there was more in the back of the store (I said no) and then she started ranting at me for not having at least 50 (YES 50) in stock because now she has to go to multiple stores to get the quantity she desires (I think she said she wanted 45) and I was just like "Oui madame" (Quebec) every time she said something until she left. Like wtf do you want me to do I'm just here to push carts and clean things up and stuff. And WTF why do you need 45 of that specific juice? That's a bit unreasonable for us to have on the shelves, it's not our fault you want ****ing 45 of them /endrant

The funny thing is that since those people are stupid enough to think you can actually do something about stop signs and food pricing, they're also stupid enough to think your responses were heartfelt and honest xD
And there are so ****ing many of them that act like this

I used to work in retail a couple years ago over the summer;
One of my most memorable experiences working as a cashier was this customer who started cussing at me because she was trying to use an expired coupon. After a brief pause, she said something along the lines of, "I'm sorry - I'm not mad at you. you're just doing your job. I'm just upset, and you're the only person nearby."
I was just kinda like, "Why can't more people think like you!!"

It's the same logic as real life.
Lets say you work at a grocery store and some customer out of nowhere approached you and tells you how to do your job. Even though you're already stressed out, this guy comes along and tries to tell you how to do your job. You obviously don't know if this guy actually has work experience to back it up or if he's just some cocky customer, and you also did not ask for this advice. Who wouldn't get at least a BIT irate?
That's the same thing in League. If some guy gave you advice that you didn't ask for, why would you listen to him? You also don't know if the guy is actually credible or not.
