Hey Wellington, Nice guide. I enjoy playing xin top lane now. 1 very important thing though.
In your pros and cons he has the second best kill potential lvl 2. Talon takes that spot. But yes i agree great kill potential lvl 2

please update the guide... and can you also include some alternative builds as well? For example when Xin can afford to build more AS and AD because he has a dedicated tank jungle or bot lane. You're the only one who has a well received top lane build for Xin, everyone else's guide is for jungle. So please update it.

Hi Wellington! This is definetily one of the best guides on MobaFire. A lot of details, and a lot of info. It's really in-depth. I was just wondering when the update is coming up. With season 7 starting, and so many new champions, it would be nice if you updated it. Again, this is just beautiful. Kind Regards Xartizax.

Thanks a lot! Now that I'm done with school for a few weeks I'll have a lot more time to work on the guide, so you can expect the update to arrive close to 7.1, maybe earlier.

Hey Wellington, I was wondering if Nashor's Tooth could be alright for Xin because it gives him +50% attack speed in addition to the 80 AP. I know your guide says that any item that gives you over 30 AP is absolutely useless to Xin, so I was wondering about this one.

Hello Wellington, great guide. I can offer a bit of insight on another way to play around jax if he ever gets picked into you. Try to get more AS in your runes and masteries, get an early phage and boots, and, when he turns on counter strike, try to proc your three talon strike off on him as fast as possible. The knockup still goes through the parry, and if you do it correctly, you can walk out of the stun with the phage movespeed, or at the very least have him knocked up for a part of the time that you are stunned. I find that this helps massively in trades against him. On the other hand it does rely on the jax leaving his counter strike on for most of the duration, but then again, if he doesnt use the whole counter strike and just stuns right away, you can use the knock up later.
But thats just my two cents :)

Hey man. I just wanted to tell you that this is an amazing guide. I play in the LAN server and I started using Xin in ranked games since I read this guide and learned to use him. I just wanted to congratulate you for your job and also wanted to request something from you... is it possible for you to send me this "iCharge" Xin Zhao's image to my email? I really love it.

Thanks a lot!

Hey man,
"Guinsoo's Rageblade (...) Sated passive, which lets you heal/crit every other attack and knock up a target with just two Q hits."
I cannot confirm that this is true and it really bothers me. With fully stacked guinsoo's, yes, you do heal on every second hit. But the crit still happens every thrid hit and Q does not knock after two, but three hits.
Why the misinformation here?

Thanks for pointing this out! I'm currently in the process of a massive overhaul on the guide, so I'll include an updated Rageblade description.

Just to clarify: On-hit means the effect works on both autoattacks and other things like Mystic Shot, Infinite Duress, and Guinsoo's Rageblade passive. On-attack is almost exactly the same, except that the effect is applied only to autoattacks. Xin's W crits are on-attack, so they don't work with Guinsoo's. Xin's healing and Q stacks do work with Guinsoo's, because they're on-hit.

However, there is currently a bug where even though two Q stacks are consumed after the second attack (Q2 from AA + Q3 from phantom hit), Xin's ability cooldowns are only reduced by 1 second, meaning the CDR effect from Q3 didn't happen. I don't know for sure if the damage from Q3 is ignored as well, but I'm guessing it probably is, which sucks. Essentially, you're trading damage + one second of CDR for more healing and the ability to knock someone up in two hits.

Thanks for your answer and the clarification. I did not want to come across like an ungrateful brat, but I figured I share my test results with you. Maybe Riot will fix the bug with Q? That would be great.

But even without them fixing it, I like Guinsoo'S a lot on Xin. I usually build it when I have success in early ganks and it looks like I can snowball off of those ganks. When I dont have success ganking, I will go BotrK as it is the "safer" option in my book. I kind of quit using Triforce, since I am engaging with pressing e+w+q almost instantly (q after the AA), so Sheen is not really worth it. Also, I feel like Ghostblade does a better job @ giving consistant movement speed for the duration of the fight.

Best regards for your guide, I was able to succeed with Xin and this is also due to this guide and its very detailed item and build explainations. Keep it up!
