Oh nice, no more "oh I missed that game. Again" for three years.
I'm thinking about Life is Strange and maybe some older Fallout titles (never played the series before and I'm afraid I'm not going to be amazed either). I heard some good stuff about Darkest Dungeon so I may check that one out. Or maybe something from the Thief series or Half-Life (I'm sorry okay).
It's not like I don't have enough games to play though so I'm not really going for it or anything. May just as well end up buying nothing. Perhaps there's something irresistible in the winter sale.
By the way, all Freddy Fish titles are 60% off. They're selling childhoods for less than 3 euros a piece these days ^^
Heh, we also bought GTA V for two friends a while ago. Sure does the trick for some people.

iirc, the only sales with flash/daily deals are the summer/winter sales. The autumn one is just kinda there to take up space.
according to PC gamer they will stop with those things for winter sale too.

Will have to wait and see if the removal of steam daily and flash sales is ultimately a good or bad thing. Chances are it'll result in worse discounts overall, though I do hope some devs realize that the reason people flocked to steam sales to begin with was the crazy 90% off offers strewn about.
yeah however as the article stated this could also be because of the refund system they have now.
And still certain titles that normally hit only 50 in normal sale and 75 in daily/flash are now 75 for the whole sale.
partly I'm sad to see the daily/flash sales go as it was fun to call friends out on buying a game to early costing them more money.

Well that's kinda disappointing. But since I have a job and can't really take advantage of the flash sales, I'm cool with it. The daily deals leaving, not so cool with though. Those were actually really nice.

Since steam finally started a refund service, flash and daily sales would just cause people to over use the new refund service or just get bat**** crazy with customer service trying to refund something in order to just repurchase it, because they already spent more then 3 hours playing the game thus canceling themselves out of a refund.
I prefer fixed sales over changing sales any day. "Oh you should have used your physic powers to see the future and you could have saved that 20 extra bucks" Flash/Daily Sales

I myself am planning to buy (need to wait for school payments deductions from bank account):
-Life is Strange (for sure)
-Alice madness returns (maybe not)
that's hopefully it because I planned to spend 30 max and because 2 friends need a birthday present and we are buying GTA V for both of them I'm going to cross it.
(the winter stale starts which is at the end of december (25 or 27 I think it was))
