Im glad someone came up with an effective build that included void staff. yes, it is situational, but very often you do need it. I wanted to come up with one myself but i'm glad you did the work for me :). I voted like.

Switch out deathfire with morellos and this build will be so much better. the CDR helps so much with chasing/escaping.

You say that you've never seen a kassadin player that gets Nether Blade be successful. Thats absolutly not true. Check out my guide. its fresh so the rating doesnt give it justice. But besides item build i always get nether blade at lvl 5 and very often I won't die the whole gamel. I'm talkin 15-0...10-0. And if not immortal than scores like 9-1, 16-1, I even have a game from 2 weeks ago i went 26-1. I describe why to get nether blade in my guide.

Well I agree with some of this guide and disagree with some.. For instance if you are laning with Kassadin and not midding you say NOT to gank mid which I think is foolish. I think that if you have some success in your lane and you go back for your first buy and have riftwalk there is nothing wrong with sneaking into mid and doing a gank.. My reason being that if successfully coordinated with your midder wether or not you are higher or lower shouldnt matter as you have silence/slow combo which is nasty.. Also Void Staff in my opinion is a highly situational item, only to be used imo when more than 2 people are stacking MR heavily.. Otherwise this build has alot of ups which is why I am gonna give it a +1!.. If you can check out my Kassadin guide which is now second newest you might get some stuff from it. Its similar to Badass Rift Ninja but there are a few things I tweaked that in my opinion give Kassadin a little more of an edge early game while still boosting the **** out of his late game.. Sorry for the wall of text
