Uploading videos that have copyrighted music in...

Instead, what usually happens is that YT identifies that you're using copyrighted music and just monetizes the video and sends ad revenue to the rightful artists. I listen to music in the background (online stations and mp3 files). I can't exactly edit it out without muting the entire video. I haven't even bothered to edit these videos - just record them and put them on YouTube when I feel like it. Whether that counts as putting music in that I don't own, I don't know. I'm not intentionally trying to put the music in, but I like to listen to music when I play. I guess I could figure out some way to not record that music, but that seems like a huge pain.[/quote]
