IDK if it helps, but I'm in Argentina too and can't load the page. It started since the new commendation system was applied, or at least it seems so.

Exact same thing has been happening to me. I usually try again about 10 minutes later and everything is fine. Ill see if I notice any patterns if it continues happening.
Thanks to all hard working sig artists <3

I just had a period of about 5 minutes where absolutely nothing on Mobafire would load. I mean nothing, the one page that did load had about 100 icon missing pictures, and nothing happened when refreshing pages. It's 2 AM EST. However, after those 5 minutes, everything is fine. Like, I click on a link and it takes no more than 2 seconds for the new page to load. And this internet connection isn't even that fast.

I know this post is sort of random, but this was a lot different than what I was experiencing earlier. Before, it was consistently long load times followed by periods without loading; now nothing loaded for 5 minutes and then everything loaded with no issues whatsoever.

If I helped you, click that +rep!

If you're making a guide you should have a saved copy in case this happens. Copy-paste whatever change you're doing before hitting the save button and don't hit it too often to minimise the risk of stuff disappearing.

I suggest you always copy your code to a pastebin.com paste

I didn't know saving could lead to deleting stuff...

It's not that it gets deleted. Sometimes the page doesn't save when you hit that button because of server problems, so when it reloads you might encounter the previous saved version.

Just wanted to chime in to let you guys know we're still working on it! I'm not able to reproduce the server issues and 500 errors myself unfortunately, but I am doing a lot of digging in our monitor history, logs and db server to try and spot issues.

Unfortunately I haven't been able to find anything obvious yet, but I suspect we're hitting some bottlenecks in our DB server due to traffic growth. I'm currently building a new, more powerful database server to migrate to. I'll let you know here when the database migration is complete but it will take me a couple days to finish building it out and getting things ready for the move, and then it will likely be rocky for a couple days after that while I tweak the config for the new server, so you'll have to bear with me while that goes on.

Additionally, I had temporarily turned off tooltip caching to prevent some issues, which resulted in a significant increase in server requests. I've now fixed the underlying issues and re-enabled tooltip caches, so please let me know if this has actually resolved your issues, or if they continue.

Any info you can give about the exact time of day when you receive errors would help, as well as what you were doing when you got the error. What page were you loading, or what were you posting when the error occurred.

@jokersprank, your guide issue is completely unrelated. Something in your bbcode is crashing the parser, you must have hit some rare combination of tags that throws things off, perhaps too many nested tags or an unexpected combination as I suspect it may be an issue with PHP's recursion limit setting. I did enough digging on your guide to determine that much, and that it wasn't a quick fix. Unfortunately it's going to take a lot more digging to actually solve the issue so that will have to wait until the server issues are dealt with, I'm sorry to say :( Your guide is there, the edit page can be loaded, and the public version works, at least!
