Sion is inherently tanky that is why I propose an ALTERNATE way to maximize his damage so that he is more fun to play - in my opinion. I clearly state that in my guide. My build clearly has his kit in mind when I made this guide.
Having a 1.95AD damage modifier on his Q speaks to further my justification of the possibility of an AD focused Sion and moreover, I do not shy away from his resistences and tankyness when I suggest some of the items in my build.
Please, if you don't like my guide and you make a guide of your own, at least make your guide a little more than a cheatsheet and more of a full "guide" as I have made my Sion guide a labor of love and have poured much time and effort into it.
I have tried the full tank titanic hydra buildpath you suggest, I personally, find it an incredibly dull and listless way to play Sion, a champ who carries a huge axe who just screams to lop more than a few heads off on the rift. When going full tank it is common for enemy champs to just IGNORE you in teamfights because he deals very small damage as opposed to being a real death threat that I envision WHILE being tanky enough to absorb damage for my carries in the process.
Even if I do understand that there can be different ways to build champions, I believe this guide doesn't help players to use Sion at its and it is one of the reasons why i've made my own.
SION IS A BEAST!!!
Yes. Analyze your situation and buy the appropriate item that would best help your team when you sell the warrior. Is a Yi running rampant critting everyone? Buy a Randoins. Is your team ahead on kills and objectives? Get a Hydra (for example). Want your cooldowns maxed out? Get a frozen heart. Its just about getting the smartest item Sion can utilize given your circumstances.
Just a side note - I love the Zz'rot - it just makes you so tanky, gives movespeed, gives health regen, and can just annoy the other team!
