G2s official excuse is that they "went on vacation" which they did, and so they got to MSI only a few days before the tournament starts.
They also have an official excuse for going on vacation, not that it means you should feel sorry for them.

The most interesting thing right now is the seeding and the way everyone's raging about it.
Because think about it, the seeding means nothing. At some point, if you want to be a serious contender you are going to have to beat a top seeded team at some point. At this rate, the top seeded teams are literally going to be NA and Taiwan anyway.
If i were a coach id get my team to throw to be stuck in a group with them.
