Hey great guide. It was very thorough and helpful as I am fairly new to Lissandra. Out of curiosity, have you had any luck playing Lissandra in the jungle or support positions?

Jungle? Nope, haven't tried.

Support? Uh... I tried, yes.

If you're asking about the viability of each, I'd have to say no to both. I can't say anything personally for jungle, but Liss support is pretty weak. Her Q isn't a great poke tool since the range is super short without the shatter, and it's hard to shatter the shard without messing up your ADC's farm by taking a bunch of them. You can't spam Q because of the high mana cost, and her only CC pre-6 is her (also) short-ranged W. You can use your E to get in range, but outside of that she has no mobility so it's dangerous to all-in, especially since she's super squishy compared to other all-in supports like Thresh or Leona.

Who knows, this might just be because I didn't know how to properly pull her off as a support and my friends and I were trolling that game, but that's just my 2 cents on it xD But thank you, and I'm glad my guide was helpful! <3

Ok here's your kinda messy review. I'm just gonna go top to bottom 'cause I'm lazy.

Build:

Teleport is super good in Lissandra no matter which lane she's in. You could probably put it as the main spell for your utility build. Honestly you could have it as the main spell for both builds.
Pretty small thing, but I don't think hybrid pen marks are really that useful on her. Minions don't have armor so it doesn't help you last-hit since you can't penetrate below zero. Since you spent a lot of time in team fights casting or invulnerable, you don't really auto much anyway.
I'm skeptical about Banshee's Veil. I think it's probably better to just build more AP. You can protect yourself with ult/zhonyas/abyssal/roa. Pretty sure Guardian Angel is awful on this champion for the same reason.

Guide:

I would replace the "High mobility" pro with "Has an escape" (or something to that effect). You already mentioned initiation power and she's not exactly a leblanc or kassadin, so I think that would be more accurate.
Assassin really isn't very good and Liss isn't the kind of splitpusher that looks to solo her opponent. If you start Doran's Ring every game, you should always get biscuits.
You don't need to justify Merciless by saying Liss has low burst damage. It's a good mastery on any damage champion.
I mentioned Teleport above but I'll go over it again. It's not harder to pull off in soloqueue (since people overextend more and don't respect vision). Ignite is easier to use, but TP has more potential. Double TP on solo laners is extremely common in this meta as well.
Especially if you're not running TP, there are some matchups where Exhaust would be more helpful than Ignite, like Talon or Zed.
Iceborn isn't an Annie passive, I don't think you have to worry about people getting scared just because you have a free spell.
The main drawback of Ice Shard is that it has terrible range outside of minion waves; I would include that as a more obvious Con.
"Lissandra's Ring of Frost has many versatile uses" - This sentence is really redundant and doesn't really say anything important; you can probably just cut it.
The main downside of maxing E second is that sometimes you use it for mobility and then it adds 0 damage to your combo. Might be able to fit that in somewhere.
I feel like you spend way too much time explaining starting items. You can probably just compare Doran's to Corrupting pot and explain why Doran's is better.
I would never start boots, no matter how many skillshots there are in the lane. Mana regen is too important.
Lost Chapter is better early game than Fiendish Codex. You don't need to offer Fiendish as an option, just get the strong laning item.
This might sound weird, but I'm pretty sure you can actually do double doran's ring into negatron into Abyssal Mask against aggressive mages like Leblanc. I know RoA's good, but it's something to look into at least.
You probably don't need the word "Subchapter" in some of your headings. Just differentiate them from your main chapters visually and that should be enough.

Overall impressions:

Visually the guide seems very organized and is pretty readable. Not as colorful or flashy as some of your other guides, but it's enough for me. I really like the small screenshots you use to illustrate some points. Definitely something I could improve in my own guide.

I didn't spend much time on the gameplay sections since you tend to cater towards newer players so the information is pretty basic. Other than my few suggestions, the build is pretty standard and solid overall, and I especially liked the example vods you have near the end of your guide that shows what items the player built by the end of the game.

I think that's all I've got. Feel free to make use of whatever advice you think is helpful and if you have any questions just ask. You don't have to respond to every point. :P

Build:

Most of my guides are catered towards newer players so I might just keep ignite just cause it's easier to use. But then again, you are right that teleport's super good. Hmm...
Minion's don't have armor anymore? o__o Holy fk, how did I miss that? I did like Hybrid Pen cause it made poking with autos a lot stronger (esp against melee champions) but the fact that minions don't have armor went completely over my head.
I always include defensive items as an alternative because I've found myself always getting questions about them from people adding me in game/on my other guides when I don't. I personally go with my end build 90% of the time, but I think I'm going to keep it there just as an option.

True. I'd just found when I played against a Lissandra, it was something I'd begun to notice and watch for, but that's probably because I'm more familiar with her than the average player. Will update.

Hmm, I kind of like explaining why Fiendish in particular isn't as good on Liss, especially since I'd emphasized utility/CDR on her so much throughout the guide. I'll see if I can squeeze that into the Lost Chapter section to cut that option out.
Yep, I've found myself starting Abyssal instead of ROA against burst mages like Leblanc/Annie before, although I haven't tried the double doran's. I'll add that into the actual guide (since I'd made a change to the cheat sheet with Vyn's comment earlier).
