I personally think it's better to go 0/18/12 with Thunderlord's Decree on Thresh. And then first max your Q after you have 2-3 points in E, and then max W after Q. I would also say Face of the Mountain is better than Face of the Equinox, you gain more, but of course you'll have one less slot.

Both ways work, it's all about what you prefer (faster build path into items like aegis or an extra shield and extra defense vs slight extra offense). Guide hasn't been updated in quite some time to reflect these different options (I actually thought I had archived it but apparently I haven't; doing so now).

Best Guide for thresh s2

Vynertje for masteries why not get the expose weakness mastery in the offensive tree. It seems pretty nice to have in lane when trading and even when going for a kill.

Because going in the offensive tree means giving up on on all the goodies you can get in cunning. The only good perk for Thresh in the ferocity tree is expose weakness, whereas all the perks in the cunning tree are actually pretty good.

Thanks also ive been playing thresh lately and you know the clip of bunnyfufu flaying doublelift as tristana outta his w i did that with my hook 2 or more time today. It was glorious.

I prefer quality of quantity honestly, and I think I made it pretty clear 1) why I stuck to this one playstyle (I think other guides lack in certain regards) and 2) that my guide's intent is not to go over every single detail. I've also mentioned resources that you can use to shape up other gameplay sections.
