Post Whatever You Want (and Stop Posting ****...

I never for once realised it (even when going through my first breakup and most difficult time of my life very recently myself) and I've been listening to the majority of these songs for over 5 years, 1 song in particular (Times Like These) for over 10. After reading into the lyrics, and seeing what they are about, it almost feels as if they could have been written for me and I can relate to them so much. Like, they perfectly describe what I've been through, and am still trying to recover from (I guess it would be like this for anyone in a similar situation though, naturally). But honestly, listening to them now while being able to relate to them is actually even more helpful. Second only to friends, music has always been extremely helpful with getting me through rough times, but even more so when the music relates to what I've experienced. Typically, this has always been with Liquid Drum & Bass which is what I listen to 95% of the time, and along with Liquid D&B already being very tranquil 'feel good' music, a large portion of the tracks I like the most are also about love and the related aspects. I guess it's just really comforting(?) finding out the meanings behind my favourite Foo's songs too, and how I can relate to them all so well. It's made me love and appreciate them even more now. I guess it turns out I'm just a sucker for emotional songs, and it's like they say: 'When you're happy you enjoy the music. When you're sad you understand the lyrics' which couldn't be more true for me right now. This ended up being a longer post than I planned, and I guess it may seem a bit 'pathetic' but it helps to vent and I found it really interesting how it was ALL of my favourite Foo's songs and not just a couple. Perhaps, just maybe I'm not alone in the general matter either.
