Although I don't actually play Riven, I find this guide pretty cool, because it talks about all the Riven counter (which helps me counter her when I need to)

oh **** I'm a fraud
Hey there! I'll build ER when up against a squishy enemy team/laner that I know can't really stack armour early or if I'm snowballing very hard early then I'll either build ER or youmuus into cleaver. Hope this helps.
"Why this guide over every other Riven guide?"
Well firstly I won best guide for a champion in the top lane for S6 and S8 on MobaFire amidst fierce competition, I achieved high diamond playing mostly Riven in under 100 games with a 70% WR and finally I make sure to continue to improve whilst ensuring this guide stays just as updated as I am!
Thank you sooo much for making this guide, Riven has become my new favorite champion, and your guide played a huge part in that. I've been using your build up until recently, and I've kinda developed a build mixing pro ones. For example, how do you feel about Hi It's Viper's setup, where he goes flat CDR to start the game with 15% right off the bat instead of scaling? Also, BoxBox and some other players I watch start refillable potion, and I like to upgrade into a corrupting if I have extra gold. Sorry, for the long comment, but your thoughts (or others) would be appreciated! Thanks again for the guide!
So I actually run 1 cdr quint and 9 flat cdr glyphs when I play Riven, however I put 5% flat and 5% scaling as the glyphs for my guide because that makes them more beginner friendly especially with the extra AD start. I plan to include the other rune page eventually when I get time.
I'd never start refillable, Riven lacks sustain early so that really gimps you since refillable gives much less sustain than 3 pots, the reason people buy refillable is due to how gold efficient it gets after each back. I normally get it first or second back and I'd never upgrade it to corrupting, that's mega wasteful and inefficient since you could just buy a longsword(50g more) instead and benefit more from that.
