AMAZING DESCRIPTION BRO ! I laugh A lot , :D Cheers ! Peace !
Dude, even I tend to forget how epic the things I wrote are. It's fun to know for a fact that people do read and laugh with my jokes :').
Thanks man,
Good Guck!
Seeing how you updated the runes for pre-season though, I hope you can find time to update the rest of the guide as well, since it was a really good guide to begin with. Some tweaks here and there would make it ideal again.
7daysko.
Well, I wanted to update the guide but they announced yet one again rework coming up for Ryze... ********, I'll just wait then xD.
But Ryze aside, there are some more "general" parts in the guide that aren't exactly related to Ryze (for example, the Dragon section) which could also be updated. Keep up the good work!
Those parts I may indeed update. And since you emply that it will be one year from one, I shall put some effort in to update things. Hope I get days off around this month to get and finally update the guide.
May the Ryze gods be with you, lad.
See ya!
As an extremely high rank player focusing on ranked alone, my crisicisms are of that intuition. I've played all the mobas out there and there was always a difference between enjoying the game and playing who you like compared to playing to win and abusing what's given to you at the fullest. Ryze has some very fun elements going around his E and interesting combos evolved around his kit. His playstyle right now is unique and build path also at that.
However, as a guide creator, i'm obliged to give an ultimate opinion on Ryze as a champion in general. I only mention that he's not viable in ranked as you'll lose far more than you'll win no matter what your rank is. Right 'NOW' there are champions that do litteraly twice as much while requiring half as much effort. It's simple maths to realise it's not worth the pain your giving IF your ittention is winning alone. 70% of the people who contact me are ranked players. All of them have the same complaint of how weak Ryze currently is and how un-fitting his ultimate is to his kit. Riot also announced 1 week ago in a forum that there are big changes coming Ryze's way (especially his ultimate). Thank god Riot realised what they made was a mess and now they'll try to fix it. All and all I do enjoy playing Ryze and how he farms and everything but I dont enjoy losing after getting 5-0 in lane just because of weak Ryze is and unable to carry.
Thus, I conclude into the guide being not updated in some chapters. I have absolutely 0 time due to attending my army duties as a citizen and also waiting for the changes on Ryze.
Thanks for being here, S4njuro. If anything else troubles you, ask right away and i'll try my best to reply! :D
1- Você recomenda o Ryze para ser jogado atualmente?
However, I deeply thank you for getting into the trouble of commenting just to help me/everyone else in here.
Much Appreciated!
what do you think about that?
I know, I watch over everything. Riot announced a rework coming by. Wait for that I guess!
First off I would like to thank you for making such an amazing guide, this is by far my favorite guide of any that I've come across!
I just have two quick questions for you; I have been playing Ryze using this build for a while now, and have been doing rather well. I start thinking to myself after a few good games, "Okay, now I can finally win consistently." Then I face a Xerath who utterly destroys me in early and mid game, making me useless in the late game, which usually ends in 2/11/4 or something like that. Any tips?
Secondly, I have been watching Bjergsen play Ryze lately and he always maxes Q first taking R at 6 and 11, I've now been trying it that way and have seen my KDA go up slightly, is the leveling sequence that you recommend still the best, or has something changed?
First off, I wanted to say that I'm so glad this is your favorite guide. Makes me so happy :')
Now then, about Xerath. I hate the match up wholeheartedly as it stands near 30% win rate for you. No matter how well I play against it, it's pointless. Even if I dodge 70% of the skills he throws, I still lose the match up. And it doesn't matter what sums he takes. He takes ignite? You cry. He takes barrier? You'll never win. Only thing ever helped me against him is to fight him along with ganks and other than that avoid him at all costs. He's just too hard to deal with and unfair at times. Here's the part where you have to understand counter picks do exist and if you're playing to win, it's your duty to dodge the game. If it's ranked and they picked Xerath on you, dodge it. At that point it's not really skill based but luck based on who has the best teammates to carry him. I detest such scenarios as I trust little of my team. You need to remember you're 1v9 and you need to tryhard or you'll act weak.
About maxing order. Damn, it's extremely hard to tell which is best. One thing's for sure. Neither is. Maxing Q is for an average player. Maxing E is just about ONLY for wave clearer/roamer playstyle. However I love putting levels on E. I hate how the spell's so extremely damn weak that it almost does nothing when it's at 1 lvl. And Q at times feels unreliable. It's a fairly hard spell to land and even when you do land a max level Q around lvl 10, it still doesn't deal sh*t for dmg. It's not like pros know either. They constantly switch or copy other pros but in the end Ryze is an extremely complex champ in all factors. Masteries-Runes-Items-Spell Order. It's literally impossible to find an absolute best as every single game will have a different one. Such an unhealthy kit and spot to be in but thus is rubber man's fate. Use whichever you seem fit. Or copy whichever high elo player you want. Personally, I put 3 lvls on E and then max Q. I take R at levels 10-11 or maybe even at levels 12-13 (i know the ult has potential but I hate it with my whole heart).
To be honest, i've lost track with Ryze. I do not enjoy his playstyle any more. You're so weak, you'll never win the laning phase 1v1. You have to be at extreme tryhard levels on the laning phase for interactions with E etc for such low reward. Lvl 6 you start losing even harder because your ultimate is the worst form of garbage. And last but not least, even if you're fed, an underfed tank can beat you 1v1. The rework was a huge disaster. Even if he appears to be OP in 2 months (for example) because of a sudden buff or passive buff of sorts, I still don't enjoy his playstyle or his animations in that matter. Until the day he's reworked again, I find it hard to devote tons of hours upon analyzing him in depth as I did back in the days. It's not a matter of him being strong. It's a matter of aesthetics and grip when you control a character. Low tankiness + low dmg output + an ultimate made for ranked team with skype + requirement to scale in order to be usefull. This is not enjoyble for any solo Q player. What I'm trying to say is, don't ask me for extreme depth things at this point. I will keep reworking however, with less passion that is.
Hope I helped in some way. Last thing: If you want to learn which spell is best to max first, play 50 games with each and then analyze your win rate. Doesnt matter what win rate others have with Ryze and each spell. YOURS matters. Any less than 50 and you'll have false statistics.
See ya, dude!
