I've always played Ahri as an assassin over anything else and my favorite version of her was when she had the damage amp on Charm, so it'll be cool to see it back. Even if they choose to go with a version without the damage amp, she's trading movespeed for damage which I'll take any day.
I think she'll end up being over-tuned tbh, but I won't be complaining :^)
Also, looks like it's being delayed til 8.7 or later.
Did you really? Or are you just pretending you did to have an excuse to comment to farm raffle points?
Just today I ran into an Ahri with Ghost (I was playing ADC). I didn't see her in action, tbh, I didn't see her at all. What is your stance on the Ghost craze? I see it on many immobile champions, however, I feel movement speed quintessence are a much better choice than giving up a summoner spell.
Ghost just isn't for Ahri really, and even if it was I still personally wouldn't take it because it goes against my playstyle. There's a very specific reason why I take ignite 100% of the time, despite some matchups being better off with Exhaust or Cleanse for example.
As for my stance on the Ghost craze overall, it's certainly very strong on some Champs such as Ryze and Ori and it makes it very hard to lock them down or get away from them. It's better suited for Champs that have consistent damage, which is why you don't see it on LeBlanc for example. Champs that basically don't need Ignite or Exhaust in order to help secure themselves kills work very well with Flash and Ghost. It's also essentially a second 'get out of jail free card' most of the time.
Hope this helps!
