Are you German? Or an immigrant in Germany? I've heard a lot about the issues with both refugees and natural Germans but I haven't looked read anything about it yet.

Thanks to jhoijhoi for the awesome PsiGuard-loving sig!

I am from Germany. Yeah, there are quite a few clashes. I mean, it's not like refugees are all saints, they have enough **** going on, but most of them are actualy fleeing for legit reasons and the way they are treated is simply disgusting.

You know, I'm actually a liberal/leftist and I'm shocked at how people who defend that Trump will end the world spend their life setting cars on fire, burning **** and stopping people from talking. But hey, quoting American Liberals, "intolerance of intolerance is perfectly acceptable".

I also don't get the logic of the "not my president" people. Trump got elected, so he is your president, end of the discussion. Those clowns are opposing trump no matter what he does(reddit was suddenly pro-tpp after trump killed it for example). This mentality of refusing to discuss anything with people because they didn't want to vote for the candidate you liked is exactly the reason trump got elected.
Here's a nice video about this issue back from the election.

Also to keep this thread on topic, Identity politics are really ****ing stupid.
Why do people think that you have to vote for a certain candidate or you can't have a certain opinion because of your skin color or your gender or something like that.
If we assumed for simplicity's sake that all white people vote for Trump and all black people vote for Hillary(which is more or less what those people are thinking), then who would a black person painting their skin white hav to vote for? Would they flip all their opinions around?
You can see how stupid identity politics are just from this simple example. I don't understand why people even care what skin color(religion, gender, ...) other people are unless we are talking about stuff specific to people who are part of one of those groups.
