That used to be pretty fun :D
Yeah I mean if they're already on top of your booty then you might wanna have barrier, whatever works best for you <3
I just play as Jerry (the mouse from Tom and Jerry) and always roll with exhaust and flash. I make sure they never get on my booty. It's really a cat and mouse game. Kinda like being an assassin, but instead of finding opportunities/moments to execute your enemies you dip in and out of situations to help your teammates with phat heals, silences and damage reductions.
I always say, whatever works best for you, roll with that. Forcing someone to play a certain playstyle doesn't work in their favour. It's just what I found myself working the best for me.
Have fun :D
How was Mordekaiser's room like, was it messy? Filled with metal band posters and electric guitars? Jokes aside XD Good job on escaping the Death Realm! He should've just went with Morellonomicon.. or Thornmail if your team was heavy on physical dmg.
All you gotta know is that the GW items apply 40% healing reduction. Both Chemtech Putrifier and Morellonomicon applies GW by dealing magic to the enemy champions, whilst Thornmail applies GW when champions auto attack the player with Thornmail.
All three of them can also increase the effect to 60%. For Chemtech Putrifier it's healing or shielding allies. For Morellonomicon they gotta be under 50% of their max hp. For Thornmail your enemies got to be immobilized.
There's not much you can do against anti-heal, it's a counter build item. Things you can do however is dodging abilities so that GW doesn't apply on you. That way atleast you still get full benefit out of the heals from landing Q's and using your R.
EDIT: As of patch 11.18 when using R, Grievous Wounds gets removed from all targets before applying the ultimate heal.
Hope that helps!
It'd be a blast hanging out with you <3
If anyone else reads this feel free to join aswell, everyone's more than welcome :D
Also, why is it I die even if build defensive items and 3000 HP ? Either burst assassin reduces me to nothing in 1 second, 3000 HP or not; or several ppl slice my *** slowly & carefully until I die
Yes it did, thanks for the reminder btw. Personally I think the spell was just too good not to be picked. I never picked ignite over exhaust as a support since a very very long time (even when I played champions like Sona). It's multi functionality is great (using it either offensively or defensively). I think a nerf was needed, haven't had time to play too many games recently so I'm not too sure if the nerf is going to make exhaust 'just okay' or 'still good/in the right spot'.
So, I'm gonna tell you something I haven't told anyone else before, it may sound a bit strange but, you gotta play Soraka as if you were an assassin. So what does that mean? Obviously you're not going to kill your enemies but you'll play their playstyle. So how do assassins typically play? They play pretty safe due to their squishyness, however once they go in their goal is to delete the enemy champion(s) in a snap and immediately get out again.
Alot of people forget that positioning, especially on squishy support/assassin champions, is the most important thing. Be in the right spot and have the right distance from your enemies, that's also the reason why you don't focus on building any health or defensive items on Soraka. So that's my secret, building the items I mention in my guide and play the playstyle of an assassin.
The amount of HP you output into your allies could be seen (not exactly the same ofcourse) as the damage you've dealt to your enemies, too bad everyone (including LCS games) always check for damage dealt to champions and never add the healing done on top of the supports damage. We all know that certain supports are not based on damage ;) Also I wonder when Riot is going to make a stat for total shielding done and total shielding damage absorbed, since you know champions like Janna are all about shielding and they either get too little or too much credit because you can't tell what they actually did lol.
Enough rambling for now :)
Hope you'll get less defensive items from now on and step into Soraka's shoes with a different view on her. Take care for now (~o.o)~
