I rly like the first build, but why no Sightstones?

First couple of games trying your first build went horrible, but since then almost every game has been one of my best raka games.

i did calculations for u

if you continue getting tickets at the rate ur doing, u will end up with 1070 tickets.

but even then that only equates to just around 1.28% of u winning one of 10 prizes.

To make the guide even better, maybe you can write why braum is a lvl 1 threat and Thresh lvl 9? I mean, a reason for all you listed up and what to be careful of! I think that would help many people a lot! Keep it up

Hi, I really like your build n°1 as its really powerful when you learn how to position yourself, and anyway without flash you'll learn the hard way ;)

I just can't really stop buying sightstone on 2nd back with swiftness unless I'm just sitting under tower with the adc. I upgrade it last instead of getting mikael's though.

I find this build much more powerful than the regular flash/exhaust, altough you get flamed a lot in lobby/early. When they see the cheese you pull with baiting and that u can position well, suddenly the tone changes! Good work!

I see you have spent a lot of your time to create this awesome guide. Its so helpful and useful but i have one question. Can i get instead of because when u die you lost a lot of staks. Anyway thanks you for help and now Soraka is my favorite champion. Broken english xd

I assume that you haven't read my guide carefully, because of the question that you have asked.
There are First and Second.Only the First build has . The Second build has instead of and instead of .
I don't recommend taking instead of if you want to play with the First build. If you die a lot, as I have said in my guide, go with the Second build

I use a pretty similar build, but with Zhonya as early item. Man that little stuff saved my life and killed more enemies, than i count. I think that people are smarter in Diamond, but in Silver, and Gold most of them just stand there waiting to wear off. Even if they don't it can make them waste their combo. Your AP is useless if you are too dead to use it.

Hey moni,

Your guide looks good with the visuals and everything! Glad you are able to make such a eye pleasing guide!
I have a couple questions about this guide, but I'm no Soraka main so feel free to come back with constructive criticism about my feedback :P

1. I'm really wondering about your runes. If you are against any kind of mage and don't have the magic resist in lane, you might just get poked out. Armor applies to this as well. One auto with no health or armor means a chunk of your health you could have used to survive or healed a teammate is now gone. Lastly, for , do you think maybe taking just flat would be better? The scaling doesn't even pass the flat until around level 12, meaning the first 20 minutes of the game, you'll have less AP. After, it's only around 8ap more. I would think having the flat helps WAY more early because the 8AP won't be too noticeable later on.

2. What about ? It gives you 5%CDR right from the start, and health every time an enemy minion dies!

3. Ferocity sounds nice, I take it on my support Lux for sure. Wouldn't Soraka want the resolve side, though? is amazing on her, as well as the cooldown on your summoner spells from !! Not to mention, can give you some toughness (or if you take , you can heal for a bit more!)

4. I really do think is an almost must on her. She has a silence and can run a little faster with her Q, but she doesn't really have an actual escape ability. If you get caught, you can't just flash over a wall or something to safety if you have barrier/heal. Instead, you'll waste the summoner spell and they will kill you anyways.

These are just some things I saw but good work! I love the fact that these videos help the reader visually see how it works, rather than just reading about it!

Hey Luxeon,

I want to thank you for reading my guide and commenting on it. I hope that you will find my reply healpful.

1. About the runes: the main reason why I take scaling ability power runes is because I start maxing from level 8. And at level 9 I gain half of the scaling ability power from my runes and masteries, which equals 50ap. Around minute 15 you will have reached level 9 and from this level on you are going to gain more and more AP as the game progresses. I have learned that 's heals are awesome in mid and late game when enough items are bought. Scaling ability power runes are just increasing them.

Here is an alternative - the most common runes for AP champions

's and have AP ratio hence her main source of improving the power of her heals is ability power. Of course, having super crazy heals will come at a price - Low armor. But about the magic resist: you gain 25 magic resist from , and another 35 magic resist from .
When on lane if you manage to dodge enemies skillshot (this is why I buy ) and land succesful you won't be in trouble, even if you receive damage like 100-150hp, more than a half of it is going to be restored by Rejuvenation.

2. Yes, does help you to sustain on lane in early, but it doesn't help you to zone your enemies like and that bonus 5% CDR is just going to deincrease 's cd to 7,2 sec.

3. Adding to Ferocity masteries will make offensive in early. Believe me, no one expects playing against agressive , you have an advantage in advance. Just dodge stuns, roots and etc. Land and everything will be fine.

4. Yeah, helps you escape right away, but as I have mentioned it in my guide, Flash has 300 sec while - 180 sec. Sometimes you need just one sec before finishing off the enemy and this is when shows its efficiency as well as when your team needs more time to kill the enemy that has jumped on you. is a good summoner, can't argue with that, but for with this build I personally recomend and
