That used to be pretty fun :D
Yeah I mean if they're already on top of your booty then you might wanna have barrier, whatever works best for you <3
I just play as Jerry (the mouse from Tom and Jerry) and always roll with exhaust and flash. I make sure they never get on my booty. It's really a cat and mouse game. Kinda like being an assassin, but instead of finding opportunities/moments to execute your enemies you dip in and out of situations to help your teammates with phat heals, silences and damage reductions.
I always say, whatever works best for you, roll with that. Forcing someone to play a certain playstyle doesn't work in their favour. It's just what I found myself working the best for me.
Have fun :D
How was Mordekaiser's room like, was it messy? Filled with metal band posters and electric guitars? Jokes aside XD Good job on escaping the Death Realm! He should've just went with Morellonomicon.. or Thornmail if your team was heavy on physical dmg.
All you gotta know is that the GW items apply 40% healing reduction. Both Chemtech Putrifier and Morellonomicon applies GW by dealing magic to the enemy champions, whilst Thornmail applies GW when champions auto attack the player with Thornmail.
All three of them can also increase the effect to 60%. For Chemtech Putrifier it's healing or shielding allies. For Morellonomicon they gotta be under 50% of their max hp. For Thornmail your enemies got to be immobilized.
There's not much you can do against anti-heal, it's a counter build item. Things you can do however is dodging abilities so that GW doesn't apply on you. That way atleast you still get full benefit out of the heals from landing Q's and using your R.
EDIT: As of patch 11.18 when using R, Grievous Wounds gets removed from all targets before applying the ultimate heal.
Hope that helps!
It'd be a blast hanging out with you <3
If anyone else reads this feel free to join aswell, everyone's more than welcome :D
i wonder if you tried the recent disgusting utility warmogs build on soraka.
basically eye (either one, i prefer oasis since it's cheaper and they both have the same hp), mobi's, redemption, warmogs , and then locket and X 6th item.
the idea is to reach the new warmogs by level 11-12, which is now 2750-hp-passive required and the passive is so much stronger. i get you like getting into the fight and q'ing the enemies but a healing machine from the back is simply, no other word, disgusting. with hp/lvl seals and flat hp quints you reach 2750 with warmog by level 11 (with eye and redemption). if you get it that far in the game, you've basically won since you can't be bursted anymore and stepping out for just 5 seconds (After the fight is over) means you're full hp again. you can also baron with just 1 more teammate by standing out of the baron fight, fully healing and leaving again for 5 seconds, then coming back.
it's so busted it's the only viable way i can think of playing her now.
have you tried it?
As soon as I saw Warmog's number changes in the patch notes I was like, oh boy. Warmog's is a really strong item right now (if used properly: tank/take damage, go out, regen, go back in). With the great buff on Warmog's I was excited to try it out.
What I found out was that you can have it's passive working at lv 17 and 18 only needing Oasis or Watchers (obviously earlier if you'd build Redemption aswell).
The benefits are:
- You won't get bursted as easily
- You can play more passive
Cons:
- You lose out on alot of healing power, which means you'll need more W's to heal your allies, it takes 2secs/W to regen each 10% health, considering you'll need alot more W's the regen time will be quite stacked.
- Teamfights can sometimes be chaotic, so you'll have to make sure not to be hit or the passive goes on cooldown.
- Teamfights can be fast, meaning enemies may burst someone on your team and then fall back, so the question is are you going to have enough healing power to save someone in a short period of time? I think that's going to be ALOT harder to accomplish with Warmog's.
With the recent changes to Oasis you can see that Riot wants supports to be less passive. I think Locket is a much better choice to prevent from being bursted and helps allies too.
All in all, Warmog's is a really strong item right now, but everytime I've build it on Soraka I get disappointed because Soraka's HP scaling is so bad on her, it kills the power of the item in my eyes.
I understand that hp regen on squishy supports is nice and if they're ever going to release an OP support sustaining item that also scales good on Soraka I'll make sure to be the first to be right on top of it :P but as always, if it's working for you, you should keep doing it :3
