Now that my computer thing can actually run it, I got it and set up some mods (mostly just visuals, really). Was wondering if anyone here ever used some kind of gameplay overhaul mod. Don't mean something like that Frostfall mod or any kind of combat or spell mod (just something like this but for Skyrim). Also, the one thing I hate in TES games is how quickly your character levels, especially in Skyrim where it feels even faster. Is there anything to kinda slow that down? Do you people personally use anything like that?

Perkus Maximus is one of the mods that I recommend to everyone. It alters the skill trees and makes things way more challenging.

Complete Crafting Overhaul Remade can be used to make the progressing/mining/whatever easier or harder, or any way you like it.

Harvest Overhaul compliments the previous one nicely.

Other stuff worth checking out:
Unofficial patches are a must
SkyUI is a must
Base for many mods that include any animations/whatever
The start of the story is rather frustrating, long and stupid. I prefer using this, or any of the alternatives

Hit me up on disco @ Lady Amelyne if you need any help with whatever :) (also please use Mod Organizer if you have no previous knowledge/skills in NMM)

Oh yeah, the Mod Manager is a life-saver. I'd probably be able to do still do it but it just saves so much time.

Was actually considering that perks mod, too, think I'll go with those. Thanks a lot!

Having to stress test a new power supply was a good excuse to start a new character. Gonna do a run as a heavy armor two handed type with smithing (complete opposite of skills I usually go for). First bounty I get is to clear out a mine with 10 Mammoth Tusks, about 40 Iron Ore and a Transmute spell book. Guess I won't have to worry about money anymore, haha. And crafting jewelry levels smithing fast too, I never knew.

I'm playing on expert, I hope I'll be able to actually survive fights with two handed weapons.. (had to fall back to adept for clearing the mine after five attempts)

Glad to see my threads still going. Hey guys. How is everyone?

And on the topic of Skyrim, I may come back to this when I get my new computer and can actually run a well modded skyrim without crashing.

Hi :D Yeah running might be OK but it really takes time and installing another mod over the new one mania just, well consumes way too much time and playing without mods are:

Meh ya it can be around Trine, Witcher or even Tetris alike graphics with personal taste, new storylines thousands of characters with real voices and new quests, markets that overflowing through city gates, new living places and many realistic discussion options and companions; teaching a new spell to group's healer or archer (ADC) is possible, living in Magic School Dormitory reading books like in real life (some books there are really written well), learning spells by this way and of course realistic mods that make character get cold in windy/rainy areas, dozens of vampire mods, ancient weapon that fuels with blood, vampire hunter mods that make silver bolt make you leave vampire lord form by force, or even creating your own spell mods in magic lab in school- from vast combinations to very disparate spells, physical spells (like in Dragon Age series) realistic illusion or... Having an eye contact with your prey as a vampire can let you control them or even drag them to self-suicide. Wearing visible rings for each hand, enchanting every one of them with diverse powers, like Nenya or Narya well...

Skyrim is one of the best RPG game I've played as I know. Playing with mods can transform the game itself into a wild west action or into a arabian adventure film like thing is all possible, please don't remind the magical venture of Skyrim...
Hi, I'm a LoL player from Turkey/TR.

I've been playing League of Legends for like 3-4 years in TR server, mostly support and mid but really when the jungle is left, I'm playing 90% of times Lee or even more *-* strategic MMORPGs and things, where are elegant details featured worlds and stories that I like for gaming. I've played Silkroad nearly 10 years, nowadays I'm playing Path of Exile (which said to be better even than Diablo ''even'') it's a mix of Hack N slash and Action-Rpg. The deep story sometimes essential for unique games such as Dragon Age series and Skyrim and perhaps Dark Souls, I umm, I can be defined as an introvert person due to some reasons, probably. I also like to guide people in-game actually where everyone thinks an invetable lose is coming, but no there is still yet some hope young padawan, my PoE nickname is Sorchavera, for TERA it was Alluchard and finally for steam it is RikudouRinneTensei, however, I'm not using Steam anymore, a quite long 'nickname isn't it, feel free to add me!

Mostly cosmetic and/or simple mods like a carriage at every settlement, snow not falling through the roof, that sort of thing. And a mod called Interesting NPCs if I recall correctly. And of course SkyUI. No full overhaul mods atm.

If you want to try something a bit different, get this. https://enderal.com/
It's a total conversion of Skyrim, which basically means it's an entirely different game, but in Skyrim engine. The setting is completely independent of Skyrim, and it's a lot more story-driven. The catch is that you can't play normal Skyrim once you install that, but there are workarounds and I'd definitely recommend it.
