That used to be pretty fun :D
Yeah I mean if they're already on top of your booty then you might wanna have barrier, whatever works best for you <3
I just play as Jerry (the mouse from Tom and Jerry) and always roll with exhaust and flash. I make sure they never get on my booty. It's really a cat and mouse game. Kinda like being an assassin, but instead of finding opportunities/moments to execute your enemies you dip in and out of situations to help your teammates with phat heals, silences and damage reductions.
I always say, whatever works best for you, roll with that. Forcing someone to play a certain playstyle doesn't work in their favour. It's just what I found myself working the best for me.
Have fun :D
How was Mordekaiser's room like, was it messy? Filled with metal band posters and electric guitars? Jokes aside XD Good job on escaping the Death Realm! He should've just went with Morellonomicon.. or Thornmail if your team was heavy on physical dmg.
All you gotta know is that the GW items apply 40% healing reduction. Both Chemtech Putrifier and Morellonomicon applies GW by dealing magic to the enemy champions, whilst Thornmail applies GW when champions auto attack the player with Thornmail.
All three of them can also increase the effect to 60%. For Chemtech Putrifier it's healing or shielding allies. For Morellonomicon they gotta be under 50% of their max hp. For Thornmail your enemies got to be immobilized.
There's not much you can do against anti-heal, it's a counter build item. Things you can do however is dodging abilities so that GW doesn't apply on you. That way atleast you still get full benefit out of the heals from landing Q's and using your R.
EDIT: As of patch 11.18 when using R, Grievous Wounds gets removed from all targets before applying the ultimate heal.
Hope that helps!
It'd be a blast hanging out with you <3
If anyone else reads this feel free to join aswell, everyone's more than welcome :D
Do you by any chance happen to know how to avoid situations such as this one?
https://youtu.be/0I_9bbbuN74
even though I activated redemption beforehand; u'd think it would help, but no. Same happens from other champs who for some reason have 1000+ per-target area-of-effect dmg, like Orianna. Also, I had 3300 HP at that moment, but still died quickly
Whenever I don't fail from the very beginning, I fail from this^
Thanks
Extasion has already given a pretty good description what happened and how it could be avoided.
@Extasion thank you :)
I'll try to add my view on it too:
There's alot of mistakes that can be pointed out. First of all, Syndra is bot lane while the enemy team is already grouped up and prepared to fight, this is the first disadvantage. At the very beginning (first 5 secs.) Lucian pokes Amumu for maybe like 10-15% hp, which is fine. He backed up but then the next few seconds he decides to walk forward again whilst Warwick decides to run down the river, at that point your team should've disengaged because Warwick was in a weird position. Warwick and Pantheon should've been the frontline seen as though they are the tankiest/melee champions. The moment Amumu flashes forward he gets to Bandage Toss (Q) Lucian very upclose which will pretty much guarantee to hit unless Lucian flashes too. Lucian's E was also up which he could've used as soon as he saw the flash sparkles to dodge the Amumu's Q. Pantheon walked a little bit down towards Raptor camp, if he stayed closer in range he could've tried to immediately stun Amumu. As soon as you saw Amumu flash you can expect something big to happen, immediately E could've prevent Amumu from using Q not stunning Lucian or atleast Amumu's ult, because he did end up getting 3 people with his ult, which is pretty big, it got Lucian to about 55% hp (most likely the champion that can deal most damage) Tryndamere came in during the stun to Spinning Slash (E) him and crit him to death. Even though Redemption came in early, it still was a split second late on healing Lucian up - which is one of the reasons why I dislike Redemption sometimes things go too fast, especially late game (2.5sec. delay is huge, should be 1.5-2.0 secs.) - Mikael's Crucible for example could've cleansed Amumu's Q stun (Mikael's is really nice against cc heavy teams such as stuns or hooks). Your ult came in a split second late aswell for Lucian, it happens to the best of us :P Also I'm not sure if you were in W range of Lucian, that could've kept him going for a bit longer followed up by Wish. If that would save him for a bit you could possibly kite it out, maybe not save everyone but atleast keep half the team alive.
You indeed died quickly, even though Redemption healed you to full hp after Amumu's ult, a little tickle (about 5% hp) from Kennen's ult followed by 3 auto's from Tryndamere killed you. That's why I always say positioning is very important on Soraka. Defensive item's don't really help that much, just build full squishy and keep a good distance at all times, that's how I like to play Soraka :P
Perhaps you could also flash earlier (just before Kennen flashes in with his ult) towards Syndra and path down towards the base gate, Warwick could've disengaged, maybe 3 people would've stayed alive if Lucian and Pantheon were sacrificed. Syndra didn't do anything that fight, Mundo didn't either but atleast he tp'd behind to cut off the path to the base in case someone got away.
I'm sure you won't take this as flame but I'm just pointing at the things that you could've done better, seen as though you're the one asking me how to avoid such situations, and sometimes those situations can't be avoided because of decisions that the team makes. All you can do is look at your own flaws and prevent big mistakes (saving people/staying alive).
TLDR, my conclusion:
Positioning was pretty crucial in this video, Lucian and you were too close to Amumu whilst Syndra was far away and Warwick decided to head down river. Reaction speeds could've been better, not only from you but also from teammates.
Hope that gives more info on the situation :3
It was just because of your positionning and your team decision.
The decision : they got engaged, unlucky, however they chose to stay to fight, I don't know how fed was Tryndamere but his damage was insane so I suppose he was crushing your team, plus it was late game so everyone has his items, you couldn't do anything but use redemption and hope for the best. It was a bad situation since they were in amumu ult range (with his flash) and you were all packed in like sardines, the best situation for Amumu, your team could just flash ASAP they saw amumu flash but they didn't.
Besides this, Syndra was botside eating popcorn, you had to know that you can't get engaged on.
The positionning : you were in amumu ult too, that's not even conceivable, you had to be more behind.
Anyway with that type of team, you couldn't do much, they seem to be pretty braindead obviously.
Alex,
Lmao! I love this part.
:3 have a good day/night.
