Seems like a good guide. I've never played GP mid but seeing as how I am unable to play him in top lane, I will consider trying this guide for mid.

how do you take full advantage of future market? I never seem to use it well and fall behind. I think i still prefer the boots for ms early but it would be nice to know what im missing that means i use future market wrong.

I don't exactly know how you're using it, perhaps you're using it to buy a full item which always puts you in debt? Think of futures market as an overdraft my friend, it's there if you need it. For example, if you can stay in lane until sheen, 1050G, do it. But if you can't due to pressure but futures market can help you afford it go for it.

Really liked this guide! Covers every possible aspect of Gangplank even though this is still a work in progress guide. Maybe you could a add a little bit of visual detail to this when you're done (just a suggestion :P)

I've been using this build toplane a lot, but I want to know if you'd recommend taking tp and skipping boots or taking exhaust/ignite and buying mobis early

If you're going top lane, I'd probably take TP unless you're up against someone like, say Riven. Someone who can kill you early and snowball off of it. Other than that I'd take TP just so you can follow your lane opponent. And also TP back into lane since Gangplanks are notorious to camp xD.

If you want to skip boots, I'd take Slightly Magical Boots just so you can save 300G and get free boots. :D

i have been using you guide from the start :) best one i have seen so far ,
farming reduces early game tho, from the q pokes for the kleptomancy but you just get items so fast, your behind minons farm but your ahead on gold its great cheeres , going to fallow all of your guieds

Hey Vaneio,great guide,but just one question,if u wanna make use of kleptomancy u gotta spam Q to poke right? Wouldn't that hinder ur SS farm?

From the games I've played so far, I've noticed it does hinder your Serpent farming quite a bit, but tbh it shouldn't be too much of an issue as Kleptomancy pays you well for using your Q on the enemies and once you get Trinity Force it'll be easier to farm and clear waves, stacking those Serpents.
