Small and complete, it provides all you need to know to pick up Yorick and start digging them graves! (without cigars)
Quick question, i really liked taking Resolve as my main tree, with Grasp of the undying, demolish, Chryssalis and revitalize and i saw a pretty nice synergy with Yorick's Q healing, especially if you build a spirit visage on top of all that! Any opinions on that?
Great job again, keep it up!
what do you think of that?
ps: once again, you're guid is awesome
So I read all your guide and I found very interesting that triforce + steraksgage combo proc. I did not know and im glad you explained that very well but I have some doubts
Well first of all if you get behind or the team you are in gets behind what items should I rush after triforce becouse since im hqving difficulties on laning face or team fights im not going to buy steraks and start rush tank any opinions how to play in these situations?
Furthermore yorick in comparison its like a garen gives nice dmg destroys tanks and other carrys has on his poket some cc and endurence but can get countered easely with cc or good kiting what are your recomendations to pick yorick in champ select? (What should I care about in the pick)
Thank you for taking time to look into the guide and ask questions :)
In terms of being behind, if I find myself struggling or other lanes are having difficulty. I will usually get sheen, then Bramble Vest (or if laner is ap grab Spectre's Cowl) . You don't have to finish Triforce as your first item every time, as long as you have at least sheen you can build what you like to a certain extent.
If you are ahead and your team is behind that's when I recommend the Titanic Hydra build so your damage output can substitute where your team is lacking.
Lastly, if I am counterpicked agasint a ranged champion or anyone else that you may have difficulty with. Start dorans shield. Try to finish ninja tabi or bramble vest when you can. In matchups like Quinn or Fiora I tend to focus on farming and not go in until later in the game. Just play very passively as if those champions are ahead, there is very little you can do to stop them.
I personally play Yorick any time I am top lane unless I see champions like Fiora or Pantheon. These champions will move around your kit and can do serious damage to you as well. I would not recommend Yorick is your team needs AP as well, in that case I would play Swain or Vladimir.
However if you get counter picked the best advice I can say is to play safe, and change your mastery from Insight to Fearless, so when they dive you, you will be slightly safer and have a better chance to outplay or escape.
Well I got into yorick in a ranked game and I got surprised about the dmg he dealt and on the pass few days I have been kinda one trick him now (still need practice in trading and sometimes what to build)
Btw I sent you a frend request in the mame of meiogordo so if you still have the invitation accept it I would like to play qith you and learn your yorick skills
Regardless I appreciate your time to explain how yorick works
To be honest laning vs fioras is not the biggest problems for me since lvl 6 with the right poke you can kill her
For me I believe the most hardest champions for yorick are reneckton, darius and pantheon
In terms of builds I dont know if im cursed kappa when I buy triforce I lose the game and if instead I buy titanic I tend to win. XD basicly the split push yorick
(But I will try as you said buy sheen and go tank seems a way better strategie)
Once again I appreciate your help im kinda bumped to someday watch you play and learn
