That used to be pretty fun :D
Yeah I mean if they're already on top of your booty then you might wanna have barrier, whatever works best for you <3
I just play as Jerry (the mouse from Tom and Jerry) and always roll with exhaust and flash. I make sure they never get on my booty. It's really a cat and mouse game. Kinda like being an assassin, but instead of finding opportunities/moments to execute your enemies you dip in and out of situations to help your teammates with phat heals, silences and damage reductions.
I always say, whatever works best for you, roll with that. Forcing someone to play a certain playstyle doesn't work in their favour. It's just what I found myself working the best for me.
Have fun :D
How was Mordekaiser's room like, was it messy? Filled with metal band posters and electric guitars? Jokes aside XD Good job on escaping the Death Realm! He should've just went with Morellonomicon.. or Thornmail if your team was heavy on physical dmg.
All you gotta know is that the GW items apply 40% healing reduction. Both Chemtech Putrifier and Morellonomicon applies GW by dealing magic to the enemy champions, whilst Thornmail applies GW when champions auto attack the player with Thornmail.
All three of them can also increase the effect to 60%. For Chemtech Putrifier it's healing or shielding allies. For Morellonomicon they gotta be under 50% of their max hp. For Thornmail your enemies got to be immobilized.
There's not much you can do against anti-heal, it's a counter build item. Things you can do however is dodging abilities so that GW doesn't apply on you. That way atleast you still get full benefit out of the heals from landing Q's and using your R.
EDIT: As of patch 11.18 when using R, Grievous Wounds gets removed from all targets before applying the ultimate heal.
Hope that helps!
It'd be a blast hanging out with you <3
If anyone else reads this feel free to join aswell, everyone's more than welcome :D
Thank you so much c:
It's definitely a good idea to know some stuff about your support as adc and vice versa, knowing what your support/adc is capable off and what your support/adc needs or how you feel about certain situations is really beneficial. You just get to play more in sync with each other when you know more about champions.
Cya around :P and stay tuned for preseason update, things may get pretty exciting with runes reforged and the build :3
Hope to see updated guides from you too <3
And also, could you please suggest me other supports to tryout besides
Thank you !
It really depends what kind of playstyle you like. Personally I think Nami has very high potential. You can play her passive, but situationally you can go more aggressive than Soraka due to her kit. She's got quite a similar playstyle to Soraka, as in her Q is a circle aswell (little bit smaller radius) but knocks up enemies, giving more aggression to her kit, her W heals quite alot too but also brings damage due to bounces, E is a speed/dmg buff for allies (or yourself), and her ult is the biggest difference maker, huge line aoe knock up, this makes you be able to play Nami alot more aggressive when needed or when you want to outplay.
Sona has a similar playstyle to Nami (R stun and W aoe heals are somewhat similar), but has more rotation potential (E), so if you're into healing and making rotations faster than enemies, this is your champ.
If you're more into rotation making (E) and playmaking (Q and R) tanks with sustain (W), I'd suggest Bard.
Janna's playstyle is more laid back, pretty passive playstyle (very similar to Soraka), alot of shielding (E), but also brings disruption (Q knock up, R aoe heal aswell as knock back enemies) and slows (W). The hardest thing about mastering Janna is probably using her ult, it sounds simple but small differences in plays can make a big difference. Sometimes you see Janna's flash behind enemies and ulting to knock them back into your team, I don't really recommend that because you're using quite alot of resources (both flash and ult for usually just one kill). You usually want to use your ult (during fights) to heal up as many teammates as possible to keep pressuring towers whilst enemies have to recall. Depending per situation, sometimes you want to ult and heal your allies and knock back enemies as much as possible, but sometimes you want them not to be knocked back too much so your teammates are still in their range and can kill them. So situationally you want to know your exact ult aoe range so you can knock back enemies just an inch for that disruption whilst keeping them in range for your allies to kill them.
I would say Karma's playstyle looks alot like Sona's playstyle but is just a little bit different.
Morgana is a very unpopular support pick, but due to her low popularity you'll more likely get good Q bindings because it'll be more disrespected unlike Thresh and his hooks, her kit isn't so great I would say, black shield requires you to respond very fast to CC and her R is very hard to manage as you usually want to get alot of enemies stunned but due to her squishyness you're likely to die fast, meaning 1 or 2 is pretty much the max enemies you can deal with.
Lux isn't really a support but hey if you really feel like playing something hype and carrying by dealing loads of damage and hitting alot of ults you can pick her, you'll probably want to build alot of dmg items because 3 of her 4 skills are dmg abilities.
You probably want to try out Nami/Janna/Sona. Fyi, if you need tips on builds or what to max first on the champion you're gonna play feel free to pm me :)
Hope that helps you picking up some more supports :3
<3 Wow ! <3
I really did not expect such a long reply and a ton of information :3
Thank you very much muffin :)
I still need to get used to the champs and their abilities and the best way to do that would be to start playing them ! I think I am gonna start Nami first, followed by Janna / Sona and the others. Being adc is like trying to juggle creep score along with kills and staying alive. Playing support takes the edge off of CS, and I think this might be my new forte. C:
As you said Nami has the most similar playstyle to Soraka, I think she's going to be a good transition point. (I tend to get stuck with one champion that I start playing and have a hard time moving on I suppose). Also, while playing Soraka, I tend to stay side by side with my adc, and use(Q) more often than staying behind my adc, and using (W) :P So, comparatively more aggressive Nami sounds like the best champ for me to try out right now. :)
I will let you know how it goes over the weekend. And yes, I will keep in touch for more tips on builds and helpful play making advices from you. :)
Thank you soo much :3
Haha, hopefully all the info wasn't too overwhelming, and no problem :)
So what I used to do is I would play champions until I reach lv5 mastery on them, then I would switch to another one and get them to lv5 aswell, and so on... by the time I hit lv5 on the champions I would get pretty good at them, plus I get the ability to show off them cute lv5 mastery emotes lol. If you don't play too many hours you could for example switch champions whenever you hit lv 4 or 3 on them, just a suggestion.
Hope you're gonna have fun! Cya for now :P
