Unfortunately, when this passive will go off can be confusing. If your shield is ready when a spell is completed (not when it is cast), then you will get the shield; any cdr is applied towards your next shield. So, if your Twilight Assault hits an enemy champion and arrives while your shield is ready, you will get the shield and time off of the new cooldown. If the spell completes its cast before your shield is ready, you will not get a shield, and the cdr will be applied. So, let's take a look at when each spell completes casting, and how to get cdr off of it.

Once an ability takes effect, this passive will go off. The cooldown will be discounted after the shield is activated based on if an ability affects a champion. So, let's look at each ability and how to best abuse this passive.

You can only really splitpush when you can destroy your laner, and even then it becomes hard due to not having enough kill pressure mid game and slow pushing in general unless you have titanic sunfire finished. Then Late game its back to being hard to push waves again. Most of the time you will be roamed on and killed if you try to split.
