Hey Goof,
I really love playing katarina and I have also messed around with ad kat a lot.
Hence I want to recommend you to build deaths dance instead of bloodthirster, I really wish you try it out. Although you don't get a shield from overhealing it still give hella lot ad and heals you from your abilities too ( even though it has reduced effects for aoe ) I think it is a good replacement. Looking forward to hearing your opinion on that item for ad kat c:

Sorry about the REALLY late reply. I have school and all that jazz so I was too busy to come on mobafire and check how my guide was doing. But yeah, death's dance is only useful for your auto attacks since it only heals you from the physical damage you deal. Kat's abilities only deal magic damage and you won't fully utilize the healing from dd which is kind of a waste if you ask me. And yet, it won't offer you an extra stat like bloodthirster would (the shield) which could save your *** from a teamfight xd. But dd has the upper hand if you're going for a CDR-based build so if you really love spamming your abilities, go for dd. However, don't take my advice for granted since I'm no expert and I'm only playing with this build for fun. Thanks for the idea though. Might try it someday.
