That used to be pretty fun :D
Yeah I mean if they're already on top of your booty then you might wanna have barrier, whatever works best for you <3
I just play as Jerry (the mouse from Tom and Jerry) and always roll with exhaust and flash. I make sure they never get on my booty. It's really a cat and mouse game. Kinda like being an assassin, but instead of finding opportunities/moments to execute your enemies you dip in and out of situations to help your teammates with phat heals, silences and damage reductions.
I always say, whatever works best for you, roll with that. Forcing someone to play a certain playstyle doesn't work in their favour. It's just what I found myself working the best for me.
Have fun :D
How was Mordekaiser's room like, was it messy? Filled with metal band posters and electric guitars? Jokes aside XD Good job on escaping the Death Realm! He should've just went with Morellonomicon.. or Thornmail if your team was heavy on physical dmg.
All you gotta know is that the GW items apply 40% healing reduction. Both Chemtech Putrifier and Morellonomicon applies GW by dealing magic to the enemy champions, whilst Thornmail applies GW when champions auto attack the player with Thornmail.
All three of them can also increase the effect to 60%. For Chemtech Putrifier it's healing or shielding allies. For Morellonomicon they gotta be under 50% of their max hp. For Thornmail your enemies got to be immobilized.
There's not much you can do against anti-heal, it's a counter build item. Things you can do however is dodging abilities so that GW doesn't apply on you. That way atleast you still get full benefit out of the heals from landing Q's and using your R.
EDIT: As of patch 11.18 when using R, Grievous Wounds gets removed from all targets before applying the ultimate heal.
Hope that helps!
It'd be a blast hanging out with you <3
If anyone else reads this feel free to join aswell, everyone's more than welcome :D
The reason I don't take coin is that you'll get more gold and harass off with Spellthief's Edge. It's just the better item as of this patch, Ancient Coin line up did get buffed slightly so the gap between the two is getting closer but I still think Spellthief's Edge has the edge, haHAA see what I did there? :P
Ofcourse you can grab Ancient Coin though (into certain match ups) it's the safer pick because of the steady hp regen (same thing goes for Mikael's Crucible over Athene's check the alternative build).
Some reasons for not grabbing Redemption:
- The 200 health scales really bad with Soraka and it's kind of a wasted stat
- The active has a 2.5 second delay, I wish it was more like 1.5-2secs, you need to throw your Redemption out super early to save someone, especially in late game ppl can get popped super fast, in early game the delay is not as bad
- Redemption also requires you to have a really coordinated team to make the most out of it, otherwise it's a waste to just drop it on one person rather than on your whole team and/or enemies to damage them
- Redemption scales off healing and shielding power, so you'd atleast want to have Mikael's Crucible in your build
- Sometimes Redemption baits your own team to go back in the range for the heal but they kill themselves
- You already have a similar thing in your kit: your ult
As for Locket, I mean Locket is an okay item, it gives a bunch of shielding, however it does scale off bonus health as of now, which means it's better when build on tanks.
I always take Ardent Censer, even with Jhin on my team, I mean Jhin will benefit less from the attack speed but he'll still get that attack speed buff which he will convert into an x amount of AD. Your other allies mid-late game will probably benefit more from Ardent but that's fine. Also when you ult you'll give the buff to everyone which is really good.
All in all, you can opt for more defensive items, but in the end Rabadon's and Seraph's will outscale them because they're the more expensive items. If you're really a fan of Redemption you'd probably just wanna switch Athene's out for Mikael's and grab Redemption over Ardent.
Hope that answers your questions, cya around!
