I want to start playing Caitlyn and I have 2 questions:
-I see that Hurricane is not a Core Item, why ? It seems interesting w/ your W.
-I saw Pilot (LCK Adc) maxing Q on Cait this week-end on 3 games (he did a penta on one of them), between Q and W which one is the best to max??
1. Runaan's Hurricane is not viable because Caitlyn was nerfed and with this item's passive Runaan's Hurricane bolts no longer stack Headshot. I have found a lot of people giving up playing Caitlyn after the nerf, however You can build Rapid Firecannon instead and become great 1v1 dueler. I think it's only a question of time when Tristana will get nerfed so it's highly possible for Caitlyn to return as meta pick even without Runaan's.
2. At the end of the last season Caitlyn received some buffs - also Q buff from 50% less damage to every target after the first to 33%. Also her W was buffed incresing Headshot damage, but the time for each trap lasting was decreased, so it's hard to say which way is better. I think it comes down to a person's preference. You can try both ways and see what You like the most.
I think I'll try to max Q first then I'll see if W is better or not.
I have one last question: What are the best supports synergies w/ Cait?
Champions like Alistar seems interesting bc you can trap while enemies are cc but are there other(s) good supp?
