That used to be pretty fun :D
Yeah I mean if they're already on top of your booty then you might wanna have barrier, whatever works best for you <3
I just play as Jerry (the mouse from Tom and Jerry) and always roll with exhaust and flash. I make sure they never get on my booty. It's really a cat and mouse game. Kinda like being an assassin, but instead of finding opportunities/moments to execute your enemies you dip in and out of situations to help your teammates with phat heals, silences and damage reductions.
I always say, whatever works best for you, roll with that. Forcing someone to play a certain playstyle doesn't work in their favour. It's just what I found myself working the best for me.
Have fun :D
How was Mordekaiser's room like, was it messy? Filled with metal band posters and electric guitars? Jokes aside XD Good job on escaping the Death Realm! He should've just went with Morellonomicon.. or Thornmail if your team was heavy on physical dmg.
All you gotta know is that the GW items apply 40% healing reduction. Both Chemtech Putrifier and Morellonomicon applies GW by dealing magic to the enemy champions, whilst Thornmail applies GW when champions auto attack the player with Thornmail.
All three of them can also increase the effect to 60%. For Chemtech Putrifier it's healing or shielding allies. For Morellonomicon they gotta be under 50% of their max hp. For Thornmail your enemies got to be immobilized.
There's not much you can do against anti-heal, it's a counter build item. Things you can do however is dodging abilities so that GW doesn't apply on you. That way atleast you still get full benefit out of the heals from landing Q's and using your R.
EDIT: As of patch 11.18 when using R, Grievous Wounds gets removed from all targets before applying the ultimate heal.
Hope that helps!
It'd be a blast hanging out with you <3
If anyone else reads this feel free to join aswell, everyone's more than welcome :D
Thank you for this guide, Soraka become one of my fav champs <3
You can find my thoughts about Warmog's in the discussion section if you scroll down a bit (November 17, 2017 11:13pm). You won't overcap on cdr though because you'll have the Transcendence rune.
Banner of Command is kind of popular on tanks because of the combo with Baron sieging towers with cannon minion. I'm not too much fan of it but if you like the extra defensive stats you can go for it.
If you haven't tried out the alternative build yet (it's safer) try grabbing Remnant of the Ascended instead of Watchers, plus you can take Mikael's instead of Athene's. It gives you more health regen and relies less on hitting your Q's.
You may wanna check out Locket after it gets changed seems like it may be a really good strong defensive item.
Other defensive items you could try out are Banshee's or Zhonya's. With Zhonya's you can eventually also grab the runes Perfect Timing for the stopwatch and Cosmic Insight for the extra cdr.
Rabadon's and Seraph's may seem out of place but at the end of the day they will always out-value the above mentioned items, simply because of the amount of gold you put into them. As long as it suits your playstyle and you're playing to the strength of your items you'll do good.
I'm glad I could've helped out and make you enjoy Soraka more! :3

Once again, thanks very much, I'll try your suggestions and see what's best for me!
Cya!
Ps.:I got M7 with her today *3*
In bronze a difference of one or two items won't matter too much compared to decision making in game (unless you completely do something opposite: buy ad items for ap champs and vice versa). You'll also notice that defensive items are less interesting once you understand the safe plays.
Making the right decisions in game will contribute alot more to winning your games, the most important thing is probably keeping yourself alive during the whole game. It may sound difficult especially since you're sacrificing your health to heal others, but it's definitely do-able. So your own safety has a really high priority, try staying out of range from enemy abilities as much as you can, and when you want to trade don't walk too much to the front. Dodging/juking abilities is also a huge form of safety/not taking damage (this however requires skill vs staying out of range being a decision you make).
You also need to realize little details like am I getting too low myself if I heal my teammate here? Or if a teammate is completely out of position, is it worth trying to save them? Sometimes it's better not to save someone from a huge mistake/mispositioning because you may die aswell or you're wasting your resources (for example ult) for nothing. Or realize the fact that Soraka doesn't move when using her heal, meaning if you both are running away from a situation it may be better to hold your heal or you'll fall too much behind and die.
Some teammates ignore all enemy damage and wait for your heals, but you can also wait until you hit your Q's then heal your allies (it's much more efficient to heal after hitting your Q's). Not healing allies will more likely force them to play safer or they'll get hit and may die, enemies will be more likely to play aggressive because they want to kill your low health adc/allies, making it easier for you to hit your Q's as they'll be playing more forward.
TLDR: keep yourself safe don't risk too much, be patient it may open up better opportunities.
