This guide is freaking awesome, man. But in patch 10.24 Yasuo's passive got nerfed with Rageblade, and I think this item is less viable as a first item on Yasuo now.

If you ask me(i am otp) you shouldn't go for pd. Rush boots as he says than go importal sheildblow, infinity edge, bloodthrister and then you can go for any other situational items(Deaths Dance, Maw of malmortius)

Can I run triumph instead of overheal? I feel like I don't get much value out of it. It don't see a shield at all. Is it meant for the late game?

Hello, nice guide! However I don't really agree with some of your items composition. In fact vs ad/ap comps, if you only take phantom dancer as attack speed item you won't have 1.33s cooldown on the Qspell. Then may I go on berserker or on another attack speed item ? Another question what do you think about death's dance in third item ?

Do you get a damage component of Infinity Edge before grabbing the Phantom dancer to have a higher damage output from critical strikes? I see a lot of Yasuo players rushing Phantom Dancer without any damage items, and I can't work out why this is considered optimal, can you explain?

No i don't get components before PD but sometimes i go for or just a if against tank-matchups or if i feel like i need the sustain to outtrade but it's rare.

Yasuo's entire kit is built around getting attack speed, crit and AD. already gives us 2 of those stats. The reason people rush as first complete item on Yasuo is because:

1. cooldown and cast time is lowered by attack speed = More DPS by having your ability up more often.

2. His passive doubles his crit chance, so we get 60% crit from a single item.

3. A long time ago his ultimate was "nerfed" so he only gets the 50% bonus armorpen on his critical strikes so it's really important to rush crit items ASAP.

4. The passive of is insane for duelist champions like . is a sololaner so you can always abuse the passive.

Basically, getting attack speed and crit is the number one priority on . Even if you don't have AD components, his DPS is increased from abilities and auos.
