Pretty nice guide . I am personally a Level 7 Trundle with 300k+ Points with him . I do have one suggestion for you . Have you ever considered trying to buy Statikk Shiv on Top Trundle ? I mean ... as 5th or even 6th item just for some flavour . I think it is fun playing it if you are fed enough in the early and enemy can't burst you with ult up .

I was looking for the passive + combo. And yes it works because counts as a "self healing".

Actually I have some other questions:
1. If minions die on a line those count too with the passive heal?
2. Does rune of the path have synergy with passive, right?
3. Why you use the path instead of with rune as a secondary path?

But still, is it worth enough instead of the sustain that you may get with the path with ? - I mean you can also make a combo with rune that you set up in the path for ganks too, no?

These are very good questions. If a minion dies in lane it will also count towards kings tribute heal as long as you are standing close to them (you can hover over passive and it should show you the range of what counts towards your passive heal). Revitalize does have synergy with Trundle's passive making it a very effective rune choice. Sorcery path used to be more effective before the celerity changes, but now resolve path with revitalize might be more effective for sustain in teamfights, although you lose massive buffs from waterwalking as a jungler. However Trundle easily heals up through clearing camps later in the game and his biggest problem is being kited so you could honestly take either secondary path. I'm planning to update soon and may change the jungle build to take resolve instead. Thank you for your input and let me know if you have any other qs.

I have two more question now:
1. Why passive health it is not increased with rune?
2. And I was thinking about to create a balance to keep speed too, what about as a secondary path with to make extra damage and to keep and create a snowballing effect with your speed?

I'm a main jungler. I have never played in the jungle and I'm very interested.
I will like to know what is the ability that steal life or heal him and some other tips that may be useful on the jungle.
Can you help me with that?

The only ability that actually heals Trundle in the jungle is his passive which heals him for a percentage of anything that dies near him. However, this usually heals a lot more than you think it would on monsters and when combined with healing boost of frozen domain you shouldn't lose much health from where you started, and after your first clear you'll find that clearing camps will heal you more then the monsters damage you so you never need to worry about that. The most important tip for Trundle in the jungle is to find easy paths to cut off completely with your pillar, this allows you to catch enemies out of position and gives you massive jungle dominance along with Trundle's fast clearing. Let me know if you have any more questions or if you would like to know of any more tips.

Would really like to test this guide's with my guide's kkkkk, it would be hilarious seeing enemy ADC stuck on a trap while constantly being pillar'ed and stunned!

I like the way you think. The constant pillars can be quite annoying for the enemies, and when you combine that with any other stuns like jhin's, it's basically a freebie. Good luck and have fun in future games.

I like support one the most, but imo only pillar is not enough to take Aftershock as a keystone. Wouldn't Guardian be better for him?

It really depends on your playstyle. I like to use pillar as a tool to initiate engages, so after I knock-up the enemy with pillar I get the extra resistances of Aftershock as I approach them and then apply bonus damage to them at the end of its duration. Guardian is more useful for a passive approach where you wait for the enemy to engage and then utilize the extra shields to turn the fight, or the speed boost to safely flee from a fight you don't think you can turn. However, Trundle's kit already has plenty of peel for your adc if you play him right so the speed boost isn't much needed, and since Guardian has a longer cooldown than Aftershock, I feel that aftershock is a better fit. Of course this is just my personal preference, and depending on your playstyle Guardian can certainly be a much more effective keystone. Hope this helps! :)

Glad you like the guide! Glacial Augment would be an excellent choice for extra cc to help chase down enemies, but I don't find it as good for Top. You already have good slows with pillar in your kit, so other keystones such as conqueror and grasp would be more effective to boost your kill potential in a duel. At jungle it could definitely come in handy to help teammates secure kills during ganks, although I don't really like the inspiration path on jungle Trundle. Support Trundle could also make good use of Glacial Augment although you'd want to be a little more careful since you lose the resistances of Aftershock. Overall, taking glacial augment reduces your individual threat but is much more effective at helping your team get kills. I would only take it if you are trying to play supportive throughout the game. Good luck fellow troll.

First, thank you for creating this guide about my favorite champion ever at equality with Tryndamere. The Troll King is a fantastic toplaner and jungler plus people cant hate me if i'm trolling cuz that's my job as Trundle/jungler. lol I'm not a pro (just silver 5) but I'd like to talk to you about a few things I think could be adding to your guide or just to have your opinion if i'm wrong....cuz it's possible....

I agree with all the runes you use in the 3 differents builds you suggest but I'd like to talk about Bloodline vs Alacrity.... The lifesteal Bloodline gives is in my opinion really really low ( start at 0% then give +0.8% for each stacks (which are long to collect) for a maximum of 8%... Alacrity start at 3% bonus attack speed and scale first faster and second higher than Bloodline.... You use Warrior as enchantment too instead of Bloodrazor so you have nice bonus dmg but not the 50% attack speed bloodrazor gives....Plus, Blade of the Ruined King is often rushed first so it compensate for your Bloodline absence.....

About the secondary tree (Resolve) I think Revitalize rune is a Must in every build Resolve is chosen as secondary tree cuz it synergizes with all the healing spells and abilities you could received, with your lifesteal and mostly why I'm using it cuz it synergizes with your Passive (King's Tribute) which heals you for a certain pourcentage each time an ennemy dies near you...The passive scales with your levels and combined to Spirit Visage and Revitalize....well....it's freakin great..... Saved me a bunch of times lettin me almost dead but still alive.

About abilities order like you I suggest starting lvl.1 with Q then lvl.2 W but at lvl.3 I put a second point in Q and take my E lvl.4.....Reason is simple.... You wannna clear your jungle quickly to lvl up and gank asap. Pillar (E) is Incredible for ganks but useless in jungle against minions... Your Q does nice dmg early and lower the monsters attack dmg so you finish to clear your entire jungle with almost full hp (Using my runes and build order)..... In the case a lane would be early gank by ennemy jungler even without pillar you could defend the lane in question...I often had kills lvl.3 without pillar or at least the lane was safe and my presence as the Troll King was enough to persuade opponents to get the **** out of there and go somewhere else to see if i would not be there.....

Well, this is it. I think builds and runes are unique to each players and their playstyles but I hope it helped you at least bit..... If I'm using the wrong stuffs could you tell me please and explaining why it's better to use an alternative ''X''......

Thanks for the feedback! You bring up very good points about bloodline, it is in a sense slightly weaker than alacrity early on since it doesn't give you a flat boost. Giving it more thought I think I am going to change the build to alacrity. Also, I had no idea that revitalize worked with the passive which is pretty op early game, and I like the point into q instead of e at lv 3, I hadn’t even thought about that. If its okay with you, I would like to make these changes to the guide because I believe these changes are clearly superior, as you are clearly a superior Troll King 😉. I am very grateful for your advice and love learning new tips for Trundle.
