This guide is so helpful but I have a question. Is it worth stacking your R before a fight if you know you're not running out of mana? Also I find the other builds/rune pages very helpful in case you want something specific.

Well first of all thank you for the compliments to my guide.

Stacking R depends on the fight itself, if there is a squishy target that is worth killing (ADC or some other high damage low hp role) then yes it definitely is. In essence if you know you aren't going to run out of mana for the fight, then by all means stack the R.

are this build work at toplane?

Hmm, I don't think that this build would work toplane. My reasoning for this is based mainly upon his playstyle; Kassadin is a melee assassin, leading to high burst in certain situations. Top lane relies more upon consistent poke damage, or tankiness to resist that consistent poke damage. The reason this build in particular will not work toplane is that it tries to build off of Kassadin's burstiness, while what he needs for toplane is sustain, and consistent damage.

Its so nice to see kassadin return to the meta. He used to be my go to mid. He was just so far out of meta that I couldnt keep up with the other in meta laners. but now that hes back I can't wait to just snowball all over lane. I love this guide and its really helpful to my game play and knowledge of the father of the void

Just to help you increase your knowledge of Kassadin, he is actually not the father of the void. But actually the defender of Runeterra from the void. That's why he's the enemy of Malzahar, who is the Prophet of the Void and almost like a person that has lost all hope and surrendered to its powers. That gives me an idea, I should probably make a new chapter and make that his lore chapter. Thanks for the idea! :D
