Is anyone else bothered by the discrimination...

I wouldn't quite put it like that, but I am a bit worried about their recent flirtations with the "inclusivity ideology". Usually results in worse games, less income for the company and potentially destroys franchises (see: Star Wars, Overwatch, Dr Who, the BFV drama, etc.)
TBH, it doesn't matter what sexuality a character is. The only things that really matter is how good the character is. The rest is just things that matter to people who care about the lore.
Also, just curious who is the her you are referring to?

I agree with the first bit in principle, BUT the ideology that makes them insist on labelling characters that way tends to be very bad for creativity / game design.
And I think he meant Neeko.
I think the reason they label characters so that people who care have characters to play, but when they don't label someone explicitly, that means assume sexuality is the same as their gender and therefore, they are straight. So, they're not being biggots, they just don't need to add one's sexuality to every bio since its not the point of a bio (not that I have read any of the bios and therefore know if they have a section like that or not).

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

This is not only unequality, it is blatant favoritism and discrimination against people who do not belong within the unique minority.
It's sad to see that Riot seems to be living in the dark ages of social acceptance. One would hope that they'd come to appreciate and accept everyone equally, and not treat others different based on sexuality. Not only have they been unprofessional with these actions, they have also been immoral and they should be ashamed of themselves.
What do you think Riot could do at this point to redeem themselves at this point?
