Yes, the burst damage from electrocute is impressive (and I love to 100-0 people too ;) ), but don't underestimate comet! Sure it does less damage, but it's a safer rune for when you could be poked a lot (and unfortunately zyra is renowned for her low survivability) and it's easier to proc :D
Gl with the glacial aug build!
Finally remembered that. ;)
Some Glacial Augment builds includes Biscuit Delivery, Time Warp Tonic and Ingenious Hunter.
But that is up to personal preferences and playstyles.
I have not been playing so much mid lately, but have been trying Glacial Augment on some top champs like Kayle, Teemo etc recently.
I really like the way your guide looks in general. Great tips. I will try Zyra more in mid. Support can feel a bit too easy with her, in my opinion
Biscuit delivery is in the poke rune page alternatives, so I'll consider it covered (in the end, all the alternatives are for all the rune pages, as you said everyone has its own playstyle, you can mix one main tree with another sub tree), while TWT... meh, if it isn't the Seal+corrupt+TWT combo I wouldn't suggest it; since the damage from the glacial aug build is lower than normal, it will be more difficult to kill your enemy, this means that you should rely on ganks (from jng or top) to stack seal. And TWT is going to be nerfed to hell soon, riot is already trying some changes in the pbe.
This anyway gave me an idea and I could change the starting items to saph+refill, I'll think about it.

Yes, I love electrocute, my friends (and enemies too) are always surprised when I deal a ton of damage just because of this rune!
