While I really like reading your guides Vapora, I think they lack a matchup section. For example I'd like to see if there's any place for a Sylas top in the extremely diverse current toplane meta of Aatrox and Urgot every game.

Matchup sections are both the most niche and most time consuming chapters to write, on top of requiring experience playing in a lot of different matchups which you're not going to get from testing Sylas in PBE. Everyone's experience playing each matchup can be different too based on their own skill and their opponent's skill. For example Yasuo is generally considered a Syndra counter, but 2018 World Champion Rookie picked Syndra into Caps' Yasuo because he considers Syndra a Yasuo counterpick, and he crushed the lane with it.

Overall I don't like doing matchup sections because for how little people are going to use them and how much each matchup can vary per person, it's just not worth investing all that time into it.

I get it for because he's the new champion and you can't get the experience needed to write a matchup section yet, but generally the matchup section is one of the main things I'm looking for in a guide, and what I use the most before going in a game (second is playstyle/jungle routes/etc). I can figure out runes/items on my own.

Guess my guide just isn't suited to your needs then. :(

The average "reader" doesn't even read the guides though, they actually do just want a quick place to give them runes/items, so that's the content I feel is most important in a guide. Having a suboptimal cheat sheet can override all the good content in a guide, such as matchups, which aren't going to be used as much as the cheat sheet is.

Considering Sylas' Crowd Control and the ability to steal ultimate abilities, do you agree with me when I say that I think Sylas could be viable as a Support?

Why or why not?

This hero is new, and I'd love to hear what you have to say. I'm considering saving up BE I get from my Season 9 quests so I can unlock Sylas. :)

It's hard to say for sure whether he'll be as good as meta supports, but he's definitely playable down there if you want to make it work. His kit has a lot of potential to be played in any role.
