The first build in the guide is always made to fit the meta and the runes present. The rest are situational and show meta builds that existed at some point in the years and that might cone back at some point in the future, if you are not sure about what to get or how ti mix and match then I suggest the first build that i list.

I wanted to see if I am going with the most optimal build and paths and your guide has helped me ! In other people's playstyles, they allocate less time to farming and more time to ganking. This is probably the reason why they go phase rush and max e second. Maxing e allows for a faster knockup and phase rush makes catching people during ganking easier and is better for guaranteeing the success of a gank.

I think it depends on your own playstyle. If you are more the gank player you take Phase Rush, but if you like to farm more rather than ganking the lanes then you would go PTA.

I highly doupt it, i started LoL back then i was at junior highschool and i had nothing better to do and plenty of time, now my time starts to get more and more limited and and the little time i have left to play games i prefer to spend it on something more worthwhile honestly...

Thanks :D, i will try to at least updated the guide every now and then whenever it's truly needed since i know a lot of people use it regularly and it would be a shame for the guide to be phased out if it's needed.

Try the builds on the top of the first page of the guide, those are the ones that get regularly updated, aka, first 1-2 builds.

If you want an all around great item that benefits Xin Zhao and the rest of the build i basically you winging it based on the game then Trinity is the way to go. If they have a lot of tanks, or you have a build that calls for Black Cleaver specifically, or you need some more health overall for a tankier build, then go for the Cleaver. thanks for your support :)

I list dozens builds that i have played over the years in the guide, you dont have to stick to one, for example i usually use the first build that i list on the guide which i change when i also change build because thats what feels better for me, i give notes for each build and its uses, try the build that i list as "early-midgame domination" or something that you feel fits your playstyle.

Which one do you feel better? Early mid game build with pta or Early mid game build with phase rush

In the past Phase rush was almost always the worst choice and it seemed pretty underpowered but right now after the buffs on Stormrazor there is almost 0 reason to go for a Trinity Force as a second item so the playstyle changes rapidly, you can rush Stormrazor and then play a back and forth strategious engage with the help of Phase Rush in order to maximaze the Strmrazor damage and preserve health, so it can be the better choice if you rush Stormrazor and play more strategically instead of going all-in, if you do go all in or you get Trinity then i suggest PTA.

What do you think about lethal tempo with xin? is it good combination with stormrazor?
1
HAMMERSLAYER

Unfortunatly not, Lethal Tempo requires a high basic attack DPS which come from builds that involve Bloodrazor, BotRK and Rageblade and even then PTA outperfoms it in most situations. Stormrazor is a very oportunistic and thus can't dive into battle and deal constant DPS without dying, that's why Phase Rush works now on Xin. I think Lethal Tempo will need a massive meta shift for it to be used on Xin effectively.

Why don't you use trinty and Botrk together?

Its too excessive, they are both very expesinve items and they both make you quite squishy or its out of the question to buy them both after purchasing Bloodrazor because you will be cut through like ubtter in mid game and on top of that if you attemp to use them in late game its not worth because there are other items that synergize better together like for example "The Black Cleaver" along with "Blade of the Ruined King" and "Spirit Visage", if you replace "The Black Cleaver" for trinity you lose quite a bit of tankiness and utility but if you purchase both "Trinity Force" and "The Black Cleaver" you lose on gold value as their speed passives don't stack and on top of it along with "Spirit Visage" you get an excess of 50% CDR which means that 10% CDR value is lost, Plus you run the risk of maxing out on Attack Speed with BOTKR + Bloodrazor + Masteries + Runes + Trinity, which means you lose even more gold efficiency and value.

A lot of xin players use move speed quints because 380MS with boots pretty bad for any champion. According to your set up and explanations, i know when ganking move speed not a big problem for you due to having chilling smite also having gap closer, slow, knock up and knockback but you lose a lot of time while not ganking. Also taking too much time going for counter ganks, so i believe trinity is a must in your case. Also i find it wrong choosing stalker over skirmisher because xin is one of the strongest late game junglers and in late game non-arguably skirmisher is better. You say xin doesn't lack in survivability but it is also your strong suit and you should hold onto it. One more thing, one of your suggestions is if you get caught or engage the enemy, don't run and try out-sustain them, i think that's good advice and i think best way to achieve that is death's dance. And since last buff on death's dance it's perfect for xin and i wonder why is it not commonly take place in your "combos"?

Your points about Skirmisher's being better in late game is off simple because the longest the game goes the weaker Skirmisher becomes simply because it deals a mere 162 true damage while you don't gain too much of an advatange by the 20% damage reduction from a sigle person for 3 second, that 20% reduction is mostly there for early game duels. Chilling smite is usefull for Xin in all stages of the game, if you can't get close to a target you simply can't kill it, thats the nature of Xin Zhao. Also about the Movement speed, even if you buy Trinity you get only 19.5 Move speed for a total of 409.5 Movement speed which compared to the value of the damage output and slow of BOTRK is negligible, while using BORTK instead of Trinity you get on average 30-50% more damage on the start of your attacks on a full health target and it only evens out when the enemy Champion's health its 20% or less so its not worth buying Trinity over BOTRK for 19.5 Move Speed. Also i do list Death's Dance in one of my 4 primary builds that i use and mostly reccomend which is enough to make it a very important item, as the last slot is more situational depending on each game you can't expect it to outvalue the rest of the 5 slots but but on the same page along with Guinsoo's Rageblade and most likely currently maybe even better is enough to be a very important item.

¡Hi HammerSlayer! Great guide, I love it. Just one correction to your post, Challenging Smite´s true damage gets refreshed by autoatacks during the 4 seconds of it´s duration, so the maximun True Damage you can deal is 140-378. Of course, for that to happen you need the other guy to stay and fight like a man, if he escapes you loose both the damage reduction and the true damage rendering your smite useless.
