With Nimbus Cloak being only on summs, is it still worth? Theres a lot of mixed info atm between the electrocute path vs the phase rush path. Also, what are your thoughts on the doran vs corr pot start (ive even seen spellthief)?

I'm going to go out on a limb and say that it's not worth it unless you've got a Sum that Swain will use in fights. The whole reason you wanted Nimbus cloak was to get movement speed so that your ult could do the most damage possible. Unless you're running something like ignite, nimbus cloak is not really going to be doing as much for you as it used to.
The electrocute path is good if you think you can burn them down pretty fast, but phase rush is still going to be better into match ups where you need more mobility to kite and such.

Dorans for when there isn't much trading and you just wanna farm, corruption potion when you want a lot of early game trades and need the mana and sustain and spellthief for when you're support.

why only upgrade your R third time when you are lv18?

I find this guide pretty satisfactory with the only addition that when there is an adc in the enmy team trying to hypercarry (especially Jinx), a heavily armor item is necesarry - be it a Randuin's Omen in case it's a crit adc (plus if they have a Yasuo/Tryndamere), or be it Thornmail in case of an on-hit adc (Varus/Vayne/Kog'Maw) because a fed adc like that would basically destroy Swain. Plus armor boots may be required in such a situation
