So on the first page of the guide it shows a runebuild with sorcery second runes. But a bit later on on the bit where it goes deeper into why to use the runes, it has inspiration second runes? Which ones are the right one?

Tried Caitlyn with all kinds of runes after pre-season kicked in, and imo based on suggested items she's far behind other carries.
Are the items guess work based on crit chance, or did you sim it?

You're right, Cait is a bit weak at the moment. I have tested Cait builds but I actually didn't like Firecannon second so I've swapped away from that for now since Stormrazor seems to be better.

You get the berserker boots as a back option despite the fact you recommend using the Magical Footwear rune, making this impossible? What am I supposed to do with the pair of longswords I bought instead of a BF Sword? What are important bans whenever I play Caitlyn?

You just get Berserker's as soon as you can, until then you buy IE components.

I'm really not sure why it says to build Long Swords honestly, that's never something that's been meta. It's something I've been doing recently on anyway, just buying some Long Swords to sell later when I can afford better items since they have such high sell value, but I don't think that's what my thought process was at the time of writing this. I've removed it now anyway, you just aim for BF Sword or Pickaxe, and if you can't afford them Daggers are nice cheap items to sit on which will build into your Zeal item later on. In fact now that I mention it I'm pretty sure I meant Daggers, not Long Swords. Oh well.

That's highly subjective, I wouldn't really say there are any important bans. You could ban strong laning ADCs but the same goes for any other ADC. Most people's bans stay the same regardless of what they're playing, for certain picks I'll ban hard counters but Caitlyn doesn't have any, just ADCs who are stronger than her in lane, and you can't ban them all out. Just ban whatever picks you find most annoying, whether exclusive to Caitlyn or not.
