It's probably fine if you have other AP and fights are pretty long (or your team is getting poked). I know I'm answering you twice but I figured others here might have the same question.

I've heard rumblings about this on the r/zyramains sub, but how well do you think that First Strike will fare as a keystone for Zyra once it hits live?

hi there as you are the zyra player i wanted to know what you think about this build with this build you get 39 mpen for very cheap with the supp item+sorcs+ludens+mejai+wardstone as well as this it goes aery (even tho the build doesnt need it) as is always more dmg than comet. anyway would like to know what you think about this

I don't disagree that the build gives you 39 mpen for very cheap but that's all it gives unless you're getting fed and can stack mejai's. You're better off just going void second. It's roughly the same cost as mejai's/wardstone but will (likely) give more AP and 40% pen gives WAY more mPen than the 5 extra you get from the other two items.

Hi Melyn! Reinaldo (the guy who commented on youtube video yesterday) I see you updated the guide! Thanks a lot for this, its helping me a lot!
Nice new rune page vs assassins!

Just one question: Is it really better to get Magical Footwear on runes? On my elo (silver) its really common for me to get sorcerer's shoes around 5-8 min game (people are too greedy/disrespectful/dumb). I can see the advantages, really, since boots = 300g = 1 kill. At the same time, i'm not sure, but scorch/absolute focus means better poke potential on first 6-7 min game.

Honestly, I bounce back and forth between secondary runes so frequently. Scorch + Absolute focus is also really good (and I've been running it into matchups where I don't expect to get poked much) so I think you're set up is solid.
