this is so fun! I think the best runes for top are: comet - flowband - transcendace - gathering of storm. Conditioning - overgrowth

What do you think of Relic Shield on a Tank Veigar Support? I figure it gives him an excuse to stack his Q and helps against poke in the early game.

Sure, and if they have alot of AD might even be an essential item.

So, as someone who plays Veigar a lot, I'm incredibly excited to give this guide a try in my next SR game! One of my biggest issues with Veigar is how incredibly squishy he is. Despite his burst power, if you get caught, you're as good as done. I realize this means you have to put way more focus on his passive to build that same burst of AP damage, but I'm still incredibly interested to try this and see how a tanky Veigar goes. This was extremely well-written and thought-out. Thanks for writing it!

Hey! Just wanted to say I love your guide. I've been a Veigar main for the longest time, and used to love playing him as a support until the meta pushed him out. Recently though, I've been using tank Veigar as a support and finding great success, because the mix of being tanky and being able to spam abilities makes him great utility. Thanks for the guide, it's a lot of fun and great as sup. you should try it out if you haven't sometime. Keep us posted!

Hey man! I love this guide. Personally I'm not on the tank Veigar hype train, but you obviously know how to make it work and you explain yourself very clearly. I even referenced your guide in my guide directing peeps here if they want a fun and unique build, sonce mine is more about the gameplay and the item builds aren't very unique. The one thing I would say is the next time you update the guide, don't forget that Banner of Command was removed from the game in 8.12 so it doesn't make sense to recommend people build it. Other than that keep up the good work!
