This build sucks. Even heartsteel does more damage than this.

Hi nice build and will definetly try it but is there a mistake on "Note: If you got a lot of only basic attackers against you, for example, Tryndamere, Master Yi, Yasuo, Yone that also got LOTS OF HEALING then before finishing -Demonic Embrace- you will go for Thornmail" shouldn't there be riftmaker or yakshoi in the place of Demonic?

What do you think about frostfire gauntlet?

instead of flesh, i use ghost, or exhaust or healing (depending on opponent and position), bc he got his E and flesh is bit pointless.

I got ****ing smoked by a Xin Zhao. This maybe because I'm terrible at the game, or because this build is *** water. That is for you to decide.

Hi Balori, I wanted to start playing shen again, so I searched what build it was running lately. That's when I stumbled upon you build (mainly because it was the first that popped up). I know I'm not the best shen player to ever exist, but even I know something about playing League of legends, and after playing some games, I've got a few things to say about your build.

1.- I doubt that this build has the winrates you list in the guide. If something with this winrates were to exist, I think that people would be abusing it and it would get nerfed pretty quickly. Also, if this build was so busted, I would think that most of the challenger shen mains would be using it, but they aren't.

After trying the build, I can confirm that in no imaginable way this build can have these huge winrates.

2.- When you're playing this build you always feel like you're an item behind, like you're missing something. That's because, if you want to deal damage, you need to go for the sunfire cape and the thornmail, but that leaves you really exposed to the AP champions on the enemy team. If you want to survive their damage, then you need to get the spirit visage, but you don't have any damage at all.

When you finish the three items yes, you've got the damage and the survivability that you needed... But wait, it only works if you have the ravenous hunter stacked, if you don't have it by now, might as well throw your whole build to the trash, because you won't be getting any good healing from your items nor your abilities.

(Also by this point the enemy adc will have the crit to go start dealing good damage to you or the AP champs will have enough magic penetration to go through your mr and kill you)

3.- After seeing the "huge success" that I was having with your build I decided to check the discussions to see if someone was having the same problems as me, only to see that you were telling everyone to follow the build right as it is. How can a build that has no flexibility at all be good against everything?

Easy answer, it is not. If you don't build a randuin in a high crit game you're going to get demolished by the enemy team. If you don't get adaptive helm on a game against any mage that does damage over time (or buys liandry), they're just gonna kill you while kiting you.

Also, there's one item on your build that just makes no sense. Why would you include liandry in this build. You don't need it. You've got the percent health damage on your q, and it doesn't even trigger with sunfire or thornmail. If you want to do damage, it would be better to build titanic hydra. It synergises with the whole build (since you're going full health anyway) and it lets you burst the enemy adc with e+ q + aa + titanic + aa. I simply don't get why you would take that item.

4.- On your build you say that you maximize shen's strengths with these runes. When I tried to splitpush (one of shen's main strenghts thanks to his ultimate) I realized that I was a horrible splitpusher. I did no damage to turrets, nor to minions, because the build is just going full tank. And when going into teamfights I could only stand there as they murdered my whole team, and then they went after me.

That's all that I've seen in my games with this build. This is not an "amazing 1v5" build. It's a tank build, it is not shen's best build, and shen isn't the best with it anyway. You could go maokai or chogath and have more success with this build than with shen.

Yeah, you've got your special moments and if the enemy team doesn't get anti-healing and you can get onto them then you can go wild and get kills. But I must say that I'm really disappointed with the build.

Balori, maybe you can show me why all that I've mentioned until now is wrong, and I look forward to seeing why I'm wrong, but right now, this is just a super tanky shen build that only works if someone on your team is good enough to carry your ***. It's not in any way the 1v5 build that the title and the description suggest.

As I said at the start, I know I'm not the best player ever, but I want to know why someone that claims to create the most powerful builds for every champion thinks that this build is the strongest for shen when it clearly isn't.
