Hey! First of all, thank you very much for this guide, it helped me a lot to learn how Swain works. Just one thing though, do you think you could add some explanations for the new 2 builds you added, like info on when to build them or when to choose which items like you did with the original Electrocute build? I think it would improve the guide a lot.

Thanks a lot for your kind words. For the guide update, I have it in mind, I just need to find some time. The glacial build is classic on Control and Burst mages but I don't recommend it that much because Swain is not a champion with such a big burst that depends on one CC ability like Lux, Veigar, Ahri etc but it still works pretty well because it offers a lot of utility. Glacial build on Swain is the better choice when he enemy team is squishy but they have a ton of mobility (***asisn and many dashes). As for the two main builds, The Aftershock (drain tank) build is better when your team has no fronliner and the enemy has tanks/ bruisers/fighters etc. The electrocute build is better when the enemy team is squishy (marskmen, assasins, mages etc) and so you can burst them a lot and erase them from the map. A drain build is not useful when the enemy dies quickly but does a ton of dmg frontloaded, that's why you use electrocute. An enemy team that has surivabilty means that if you are squishy and rely on burst you won;t be able to do a lot afte rthe early game so you prefer a more tanky build with sustain (Drain Tank). That's how you should think of ooyur strategy

Hey man! Your guide has helped me out a lot but I have a question about the drain tank rune build. Why would you opt for the tank support item instead of the caster one when you still really need the mana regen? And it is so easy to farm the gold off of the spellthief's

I usually prefer it over spellthief's with this build because I buy Zhonya's first item and amor needs health to be more usefull, that's why all tanks first buy health and then resistances. Also this item combined with Swain's passive gives a lot of sustain in lane and with Manaflow Band you have no mana issues. Also Aftershock dmg increases with bonus health and that's another reason I prefer it. Still Spellthief's is quite viable and if you like it better then buy Spellthief's.

for the drain tank build do you prefer the 'drain their souls' or 'impregnable stronghold' they both look cool. also very nice guide.

Thanks a lot mate. I actually prefer the Standart Drain Their SOulds build for the support role. It;s cheaper and the utility it offers is better for the role. The point of Gargoyle's Stoneplate is that it helps you survive much more which makes the healing of your ulti actualy stronger since you get less dmg (you do less dmg as well though). So in teams that you need to tank because your team has no frontliner (no tank) gargoyle's is better. In more standart situtations that catching enemiess off position and initiating teamfights is your main goal then Shurelya's is better.

I know mate. it's not broken but it's definitely one of the best support options for season 10, especially combined with cc adcs.
