Hey what do you think of this?
conqueror + domination (ravenous hunter/taste of blood)
greaves -> stridebreaker - umbral glaive -> guardian angel -> mortal reminder -> stormrazor

I like getting all these cheap items to beef up the speed mythic quickly, then when i have the money i'll replace the boots with stoneplate and an exhausted guardian angel with mabye randuins or steraks gage

I used to take Domination a lot before they change Ravenous (cant remember when but I think it was season 11 start). Cuz now it only works on machine gun abillity characters likes Samira, Cassio, Ryze for example and not slow burst damage like our boy Garen. The build looks fine to me but maybe I would go serpents fang instead of umbral glaive cuz its rly good against shieldbow users and shields in general plus its very cost and gold efficent item. Also maybe go Mortal reminder second so you get some more spins earlier, helps you to snowball harder against melee's top. Yeah but cleaver idea, tell me about if it worked out for you!

i've refined it a bit, now i take ingenious hunter and zombie ward on the 2nd tree. the cdr on umbral glaive is amazing, probably the best item in the game. i get anathemas chains as the last item instead of stormrazor but i'd like to see how fast warmogs resets with full item haste.

what do you think about this garen build?
phase rush + resolve
frostfire gauntlet -> ninja tabi -> mortal reminder -> collector -> infinity edge -> steraks gage

provides a good balance of damage and tankiness. watching people get executed on the sunfire aura is priceless too

looks like a weird build on paper but if its working for you nice job! I would still prefer gore or stride as mythic with phase rush cuz I like the mythic passive more

you're right, the gore drinker is better. i got a penta kill on my first try lol

Sorry forgot to write that in. I added now but for you, basically I have more common Tabi games with a lot of CC so I go unflichting. If you have no CC or Full AP you can just go Overgrowth

Hello, you have a great guide here! Is this guide only for advanced players, or for first-time Garens too? I'm asking because there is a bunch of newcomers to League, and they visit Mobafire to learn a champion. If it's only for advanced players, then new players may try it without a good fortune and quit from that champion. Anyways, you have a vote from me and thank you for contributing to the community!

Yeah, imo for sure. I haven't explained anything in high elo knowledge and if somebody didn't understand something Im here to explain! But I recommend for newcomers to start with Garen Top and Just go for Conq Resolve(Conditioning & Overgrowth) against melee and Fleet Resolve (Second Wind & Overgrowth) against Ranged and learn matchups and the champ itself first before Limit testing with other Runes + I have most Matchups for Top rough explained down below! I added the matchup. Basically farm lane where u wanna scale and only can win with your Jungler when hes 6.

First off all it's kinda Disrespectful to come to some else's Guide and claiming its Copied. 2nd you got no prove at all just a all Caps message that is just offensive with no Background. And 3rd, about "Balori" idk how he is personally but I respect every League of Legends Player that actually cares about the game and does Guides to help People out that need advice and struggle. Even though he's not hard maining or OTP'ing Garen like me or others but he still did a very Good guide about Garen with actual math and numbers. Anyways, I put more than 3 Days of work into my guide and as a Guy who work in a real Job before I prefer to put the time into MY Work and not just steal from somebody else. If that's enough for you, feel free to argue about me, but I just want ppl to learn and master the Champ I love to play: Garen. Demacia.

So overall should I just farm or should I push lane, or does it depend on what champion I'm going against, because I played garen, killed my enemy laner but then he can back and I started to lose fights. So should I play defensive?
