I miss back in the day he didn't need to be so close to his enemy just to hit his Charm and could move so much more switliy in fights while clicking W and and just let your Clean them all... good timesssss

True but now a days he's more balanced which I like because it keeps his playrate low so I can one trick him without worrying about picking a secondary although I do have a Zilean just in case. Unfortunately redemption isn't good on him anymore because Athenes got removed.

I made some suggestions of what you can use in certain situations like aery into poke champs but it's mostly down to personal preference unless you are wanting to play for matchups like me but one of my preferences is that I really enjoying using electrocute just because of what it provides I'd say just try out different runes and see what works best for you because there is no clear cut definitive "yes this is the best and only rune" it's kind of like a bunch of good runes that shine when put up against certain things (but there are bad ones). I'd say try Electrocute, Aery, or Aftershock to start off with since those are the 3 most common runes and can be flexed to use into almost any matchup if you wish to do so.

I'm a Rakan One-trick and honestly, I absolutely love using AP on Rakan. It is easier to carry games with, because of how much damage you're dealing with them and how much plays you can make with them. I find the most successes using the aery, null orb, transcendence and, gathering storm comboed up with conditioning and revitalize.
Your skill order is absolutely perfect, the shielding Rakan gives is absolutely massive, not to mention his heals when you have his items built.

Aery is honestly so good if it wasn't bugged on your second E cast I would use it every game no joke. AP Rakan feels better than last season imo.

Good to know you have potentially strayed away from tank Rakan. Building AP is even more justifiable than ever and it seems like this season might be the one to shift people away from such builds. But I am glad you had success with it.
