Thanks for the Guide. It's really well done, especially the matchups section.
Also, is there a possibility for an update to the guide in the future to account for changes in runes and item meta?

Now that Ravenous Hunter got replaced (rest in peace), is there a particular part of the Domination tree you like to run? I feel like Ingenious would be the next best bet so Zhonya's is on a lower cooldown but I'm not entirely sure.

Thank you for the guide, it saves me everytime. only question is crown now more viable then liandrys? And im struggling against akshan mid would you go barrier or exhaust against him. Thanks so much.

Hello @ lethalwomanxd, I hope you're doing well. If you're vs. Akshan, I would definitely recommend taking Crown over Liandry's - personally, I believe Exhaust would be best in this matchup unless their Jungler has high burst, i.e. Elise, Ekko, Rengar, etc. in which case, Barrier would be better. Good luck!

Beautiful guide, everything is easy to read and matchup section is longer than the bible.

Very nice guide really like the match up break downs. I am still learning Cassiopeia and getting better but still underperforming damage wise. I think some of that has to do with me being less aggressive than most people playing draft. Any tips on how to improve this or is it all situational based on match up?

Hyrav (1) | September 14, 2021 1:59pm
Hi @ Gri3f3r, thanks for the comment. Apologies for the delay in getting back to you. I think your damage output will build with confidence. Once you have a good grasp of your limits and exact numbers at each stage of the game, you will know which fights are favourable before they even occur - just keep playing, and you'll see improvement! Good luck :)

This a really cool guide, thanks for making it! Assuming you've seen the upcoming Cosmic Drive changes coming in one of the next patches, do you think that will let it figure into Cassio's build somehow? How viable do you think it'd be as a third or fourth item?

Hyrav (1) | February 9, 2021 4:12pm
Even taking the recent changes into account, I still think Cosmic Drive is a great pickup in situations - if you've opted for the Conqueror build-path but still lack some self-peel, it's a nice item to have. The ability haste is also very handy to maximise your DPS. I would still wait until after you have completed your Seraph's Embrace, but otherwise I still think it's a nice item to buy perhaps on 4th or 5th slot.

Super general question, but how do you survive laning phase against someone with easy gank set up + a jungler with huge dive potential? It's rare that this happens but it makes me absolutely miserable when it happens because I get camped under tower and since I don't have the easiest gank set up, my jungler rarely comes.

Hi @ ecl1p3e, thanks for the comment.

If you're against a tough matchup including your lane opponent and enemy Jungler, I would strongly recommend running Phase Rush and Cleanse/Barrier to negate a lot of the pressure. Most of the time, if a Jungler sees you have taken either of these summoners it's not always worth ganking your lane.

Try your hardest to secure as much farm as you can throughout the early game until you have your Liandry's and begin to scale.

This guide was very helpful, in particular the matchups section! I've picked up Cassio a year ago and done somewhat ok with her, but there are still a few things that I cannot manage to do right:
- When I have the advantage over my opponent, how do I utilize the pressure I have without dying to the jungler? (especially against a champion where I *must* use this advantage, like kassadin) I often die to a gank because I try to deny him farm at his turret. Sometimes roaming is the solution but not always.
- How to navigate the game when most champions on the opponent team outrange me? In these situations I often feel powerless because I just can't reach them. If I chase they cc me before I reach them. If they chase they have time to react if I turn back. I know cassio can really turn a teamfight around with good positionning but I can't manage to know what I should do in these situations.

Lastly a suggestion for your guide: you should include a condensed list of not very knowns tips! You mentionned the ult+flash and the fact that her W removes scuttle's shield (which I didn't know). You could also add that her W cancels Nunu's snowball and Vi's Q. These tips are not very intuitive, and can be very useful!

Hi @ Ytawo, I hope you're doing well. Thank you for the great feedback, and I'd love to address some of the points you've raised.

1. If you're into a late scaling matchup such as Kassadin, whereby it feels like a ticking time bomb and you're forced to apply early pressure, ensure you're hovering towards your Jungler at all times, whilst keeping the opposite side of your lane warded with strong vision control. If you're being oppressive and building a lead for yourself, look for opportunities to roam into your side lanes or the enemy Jungle whilst Kassadin has recalled or is still farming under tower.

2. As described in the 'Teamfights' section of the guide, your objective is to deny mobility and zone. If you're able to stall until you have Flash readily available, make your team aware of this, because if you're able to hit a big Petrifying Gaze > Flash combination, it could win the game for you. Kiting whilst weaving in Twin Fang is something you'll develop over time, but Cassiopeia is relatively strong in extended trades.

As for your suggestion for the guide, I went ahead and added this information to the 'Laning Phase' section. I also added two videos to showcase how using Miasma will interrupt abilities such as Nunu's snowball and Fiddlesticks's ultimate. Thank you for the great review!

Thanks for the reply! I'll try to keep all of that in mind. I didn't realize that ult+flash was such an important tool in winning teamfights, I always tried to keep my flash to use it defensively.

I thought of one last use of the miasma that you didn't mention but can prove useful: it cancels teleports! (the summoner spell, but also things like twisted fate's ult) It makes sense when you think about it but I know a lot of people don't know about this.

Very Nice Guide I can see you put a lot of time and effort into this. My only problem is the positioning of the matchups component, I personally feel like it would be best placed at the end of the guide, so we the reader, can learn how to play her before learning to play her matchups. How long did it take you to complete the whole of it? Good Luck and all the best with the season 11 guide competition, i'm rooting for you.

Hey @ RandomPerson, really appreciate the feedback - thank you! I've taken your advice onboard and moved the matchups section to the end of the guide. Hopefully this change will make chronological sense to future readers. Have a great weekend!

To answer your question, the guide took me approximately 24hrs to write.

Hey, I've just read the guide and indeed it feels indeed very natural to have the matchups at the end! Thanks for writing it, especially all the details for all the matchups, it's very useful.
