Greetings! Very well-made guide, my friend!

I am once again asking what mythic you should opt for when playing , as I think is still the best option, especially against assassins. is quite strong for scaling, but I think the game currently is too fast-paced to make it worth the wait, as Veigar needs as many stacks as he can get as soon as possible.

I still prefer Everfrost because it's the most consistent option for snowballing. RoA is just great into the current jg/mid roster.

Hello! Interestingly enough, in my other comment I specified that I appreciate the fact that you do not recommend opting for as a mythic, but I found out that that is only present in the item part of the guide

"Once you've finished Luden's Tempest, there is almost nothing that can change the match up for the enemy outside of hard CC."

I am still curious as to why you suggest this, though.

I tend to primarily update items/runes more so than the text especially if the champ sees relatively little changes over a year.

Right now, Everfrost is still BEST IN SLOT MYTHIC for Veigar due to it's synergistic effect with your playstyle making it the most consistent / optimal item. E.F only costs 2800 making it a quicker item spike = faster snowball.

Ludens would be second choice for those who are itemizing specifically for early game damage against squishies. It has downsides like lacking consistency, but makes it extremely easy to one shot without relying on Everfrost active if you are reliably landing box early in the game.

At the time of writing this guide, they had deleted GLP and Everfrost was the worst item in the game. Ludens was 10 Mpen making it infinitely more valuable in the past. It is different now :3

Finally, a guide on that doesn't suggest taking as a mythic. I seriously think it's one of the worst decision that low ELO Veigar's make. Everfrost is just superior in EVERY way

Depends on context, Predator is pretty much always useful. You can get up to like 500+ damage on Electrocute though which is neat! It's a preference thing, but Predator is statistically better IMO

What do you think about dark harvest veigar?

This guide is for AP Bot Veigar where you typically will not build tear.

If you're playing mid lane, you can start or first recall into Tear if you're playing an afk farm match up where the only thing that matters is waveclear.

You do not finish your tear item, you just buy it for extra mana then build into Everfrost / Lucidity typically

Gj on the guide. It didn't have a bunch of text walls that made it boring to look at and the coding was fairly simple but pretty. Is this guide for mid, bot, or support veigar? I'm starting to play him more in the support role due to the 500 assassins waiting for me that can oneshot me faster than I can cage them. How different are each of the roles (besides match ups) and how would you know when to pick Veigar?

Thanks! This guide is for bot lane Veigar. This is due to the fact that Veigar has unplayable match ups in any other position. In mid lane he is out ranged or lacks the mobility to deal with meta champions.

Support Veigar also suffers issues where he's reliant on teammate CC to utilize his kit properly since he can't be self-reliant without resources. Combine this with the support meta favoring heavy all in tanks like Rell/Leona, it's nearly impossible to move up as a double ranged squishy lane.

This is why Veigar is currently the best in ADC as it allows him to safely farm while getting an assisting champion who can set up his combo with limited issues. Veigar is great into short range compositions due to his box or squishy champions who are unable to properly itemize MR. If your team is lacking AP damage, you can also pick Veigar to add some versatility to your composition.
