Big Aqua Dragon fan. I tried Kha top a while back. Went Manamune and cdr. Called it "Blue'Zix". I couldn't quiet figure out how to make it work, but this here my boy is GOLD!!!!

The build is pretty fun, its a nice choice to confuse the hell out of the enemy team

So would essence reaver be a possivble alternative to manamune? I feel like manamune takes too long to stack and become usefull, with ER you can have infinate mana with more dmg on your passive proc when you go in. The obvious downside is a little less dmg on your w when you would have a murmana, but i think essence could be good too, any thoughts?

I think Essence Reaver just narrowly misses out.

1. Both are 2900g. Manamune provides the same amount of AD as Essence Reaver even with 0 stacks on Tear.

2. The build path on Manamune is better; Cloak of Agility from Essence is kind of a dead purchase on Kha compared to the more gradual buildup of components from Manamune

3. Essence Reaver doesn't actually provide any bonus mana for laning phase until it's fully completed, versus Manamune which provides mana from the get-go with Tear

4. In a similar way, Essence won't give any mana during extended sieges, since this Kha playstyle only really ever dives in for the kill. That means that it's very feasible that the build would just run out of mana during those sieging situations unless you started being very conservative with mana

None of this is to say Essence Reaver is bad; it gives 5 more ability haste and definitely has more potential burst. I'm just not sure those are good enough incentives to overpower Muramana though.

Well, just saw new nest patch, both are getting nerfed, but i think ER got the worst end of the deal. ER lost 10 ad, whilst manamune got 100g added and 0.5% less mana to ad convertion
