idk about ravenous hydra cuz lifesteal doesnt rlly do much for aatrox does it maybe u meant old ravenous.
i like lethality dmg, but dont like squishy so i generally build profane/serylda before some bruiser items.

rav helps loads, i only put it here because its my bread and butter item. active is essentially a lite gore drinker, i can use it on waves to heal to full, i can auto waves to sustain back up after trades/skirmishes, and ult also amps all the healing from auto's and active which just pushes it even further. i dont recommend building it if you dont know how to properly auto wave between q casts/cant auto weave because of enemy comp/set-up.

yea, the out of combat healing from ravenous is pretty useful, i just think since it no longer has the ad passive it's not that amazing for actual combat and it has lifesteal rather than omnivamp

honestly going full lethality may be fun but i dont like how glass cannon you become, while you lose frontload damage from the lack of lethality with rav you get back survivability during skirmishes, again, its just a me thing so if you want to still opt for profane and it works for you dont change it out to rav.

Hello there. These guides are great, but they miss some explanations. For example about items choice. Different options could have a note where you explain when to pick this, and the "situational items" box is far too big, without some suggestions it cannot be of great help. Said this, the guide is still good. Good work.

haven't went against it yet, but i generally add the match ups after i get a decent number of them.

its really helpful and cover all game styles that may aatrox players can face,thanks.

majority of games can just bust on the other laners and carry the game, very good guide to improve aatrox especially on what to do in particular matchups. i used to only run conq domination rush deaths dance season 10, and get my *** pounded by fioras. But now its like ive found a whole new part of the champ. Love the guide. Also really like how its updated each patch.

the grasp page was made specifically as an anti-fiora set-up but i came to find out it works really well into any ad melee champ that beats you during lane phase. Grasp+brambles just gives you the heal+magic damage from both to be able to outtrade and even out all in most enemies so its far stronger than just going conq+ad.
