Minor runes are in my opinion often times personal and really depend on what you're comfortable with. I do have Sudden Impact listed as a viable option, though I generally take Taste of Blood, especially against melee champion when you will be trading a lot and will greatly benefit from the sustain it provides. I am not very keen on Ultimate Hunter though, I'd much rather have healing to sustain during fights rather than ability haste on an ultimate that already has a relatively low cooldown in later stages.. But as I said ! Always play what you're most comfortable with. The ultimate goal is to have fun, having the 'optimal setup' is only secondary !
Nice taste! – Oh and the depth of this guide is gigantic.
I didn’t even think about using ravenous … what is it called?... as Akali. Omnivamp, huh?
Your guide is also kinda beautiful. I feel like I'm flipping through a book of fairy tales. I mean, look at these ornaments. Cute.
How would you face Akshan right now? Any idea how to handle him?
And do you prefer chasing after the missing enemy mid laner who is roaming or will you rather push your lane?
How do you make this decision?
What was your coolest experience while playing Akali?
Some epic escape you will always remember?
An amazing hunt?
The most impressive penta?!
Still remember a game where you normally had to win the matchup but didn’t?
Why do you keep playing Akali? What year felt as the strongest Akali year ever thanks to buffs, nerfs or patches?
And what is your favorite Esports team in League of legends, if you have one?
Your guide is awesome. Share some personal informations with us, to grow your fanbase :p
Thanks for your work!
I have never faced Akshan yet so I doubt I'd be able to give you proper advice on how to handle him, sorry !
I'd never recommend chasing the missing enemy midlaner when behind, or if you don't have vision of the path they're taking. You could run into a 1v2 in the river or just get one-shot by your enemy laner if they simply hide in a bush and wait for you to come by. If the enemy laner is roaming bot or top, I would immediately ping back my teammates and push the wave as fast as I can, and only then I would consider following the roam. The only time I would follow them without first pushing the wave if there's a fight happening nearby.
My coolest experience while playing Akali I'd say is whenever I'm really ahead and get to carry my team 1v5. I remember this one time where my team was HARD losing (down 8K worth of gold), and somehow, the enemy team kept bm'ing and dying to me, repeatedly. So I'd get shutdown, after shutdown, after shutdown, until I became absolutely unstoppable ! As I was getting stronger and stronger, the Yasuo in our team kept spamming "IMAGINE" in chat, as in "imagine if we actually win this game".. and we actually did ! :D Here are a few screenshots of that game I kept : https://imgur.com/a/UnhAtoO
Not an epic one but a funny escape I remember was when an ennemy Zac kept chasing me through the whole topside for a whole 2 mins. Yes, 2. whole. minutes. I would just E out of his E every single time and run away and he wouldn't give up, until his team came through and caught me :( So I did manage to escape for a while, until I couldnt anymore because I was cornered from all sides. (we were hard losing that game too btw :c)
I dont have any amazing hunt in mind, or a particularily impressive penta (I've only had 6 or 7 of those with Akali), sorry~~
A game where I would normally win the matchup but didn't ? Probably that one time I was facing a Cassiopeia, and managed to die 4 times in a row in lane , while she survived with 1 digit HP every single time :D
The reason I keep playing Akali is because I suck at every other champ :c and she's fun ! I have been playing for only 2 years so I dont have many years of experience with Akali, but she was probably at her strongest in 2018, the patch of her rework maybe. idk.
My favorite Esports Team is undoubtedly T1 ! I have had the chance to meet Faker in the past, so I might be a little biased..
Have a good day or rest of your evening!
